my kids' and my favorite toy
I bought this marble parkour for my daughter's 9 year birthday. It is amazing!First of all, I have to say it's not easy to assemble because all pieces are designed to snap to each other super tight. I did all the snapping work, and my nails were quite stressed. It is a good idea to utilize two tools included in the package. I don't think my daughter is strong enough to snap them. Though you may think this is a drawback of the toy, I believe it's absolutely necessary to make the whole structure sturdy. I also love the way they snap together with mortises and tenons. Very smart and elegant.I had my daughter to take off pieces from boards and figure out how to piece them together. It was so fun to piece this complicated, delicate, and very well designed 3D puzzle together. We got the fun of being a carpenter when we put each module together and then wow at how smart the module works (like a programmer wow at nice codes). When the whole toy was put together, we were surprised to find out that the parkour runs the marbles endlessly. I had thought we had to pick up the marbles from the bottom and put them to the top of the parkour each time. It's not the case. The whole parkour is a continuous cycle, wow! My whole family love it. My 6 year old son was so excited that he turned the handle non-stop for an hour, lolI'm going to buy a different puzzle of the series next year. Thumb up!

Lots of fun but delicate,
Gift to my grandson. He loved it, but it got broken easily and had to be repaired.

Marble Puzzle
I bought this for my teen grandson who is on the autism spectrum. I wanted something different than Legos. I saw the ads for this puzzle. He has enjoyed putting it together and it stimulated his desire for learning again

Amazing engineering
It was difficult to make but not tedious. It took me about 8 hours to assemble, and I never got bored. The result is an infinite marble course that's very entertaining.

Fun project
Very nice kit and a great conversation piece once complete. It was easy to assemble. The parts are laid out nicely and easily removable from the carrier boards. You should have some basic modeling tools handy, but really, all you need is included. Use the included sandpaper to sand down connection points (very small areas where the pieces are attached to the carrying board.) These points are small, but should still be sanded down to facilitate movement. The instruction book is well written, consisting of very good graphic pictures showing each step clearly. Some steps could be a little confusing, so review your assembly pictures carefully for hints on proper orientation, etc. I had the large wheel installed backwards. Something didn't seem right, but I kept moving forward and didn't catch my mistake until several steps down the road. So, yes, I had to go backwards through the book and disassemble until I reached the proper step to find my mistake. So, if something doesn't seem right, just study the steps and pictures very carefully. If you have to disassemble it to repair a mistake, you basically weaken the joints a bit. But, overall, I thoroughly enjoyed building this. Just take your time. The parts fit tightly together. So, be gentle. You don't want to break any pieces. It will go together nicely, and you can then amaze your family and friends.

Study, fairly easy to assemble, great fun!
I bought this on kind of a whim thinking it will be fun to show my 3 year old great grandson when he comes to visit next month. I've worked with both wood and plastic models so figured it would not be a problem to assemble. The pieces all come on die or laser cut sheets, very accurately cut and none were cracked or broken. My thumb got a little sore punching out all the pieces but anyone with longer fingernails will not have my problem. Everything went together fairly easily but the last several marble tracks require some finesse. Judicious use of pliers helps to squish pieces together in a few places. Be sure to use the wax to lubricate all surfaces that move against each other, especially the cams! End result was pretty sturdy and fun to operate. Only one area gets a little loose after playing for awhile so I'll probable added some glue to that joint. Took about 4 or 5 hours over 2 days to put it together, hard to set aside once I started. I think a handy 12 year could handle assembly with a bit of help. Highly recommended!

Be tolerant - the parts aren't always
The idea of the kit was very alluring - it was really neat. The execution left something to be desired. The "instructions" were minimal - both in coverage, and in size. I needed a magnifying glass to see how some parts needed to be arranged. The instructions were not helpful with some parts, and the included QR codes were useless. They led to the company's Facebook page with what amounted to "ads" for the products and no additional instructions, as promised. And then there were the improperly milled parts that did not match up. I got it together using super glue, and my Dremel to reshape some parts to make them fit. But the tolerances for moving parts (gears, etc.) was off and the cam shaft wiggles in the space allowed. Not sure that a second kit is in my future. Lastly, there is no "customer support" - no way to reach anyone in this company.
