Did I mention this is excellent?!Fab product - so very simple to use.Simply cut to size, peel off the backing and stick to plant pots.As plant pots are often not straight edged - you do need to stick it and re position going round, but it does bend easily enough to make a good seal.Very sticky, so sticks together if pieces meet, so have to throw away and use a new piece.Has really seemed effective on the plant pots - it deters slugs and snails, where as pellets seem to attract and kill them; so much better environmentally.Have already bought another roll.

This copper tape seems to be doing the trick with deterring slugs from plant pots and containers. However, I did see a rather large slug get past the barrier so might affect certain sizes? Seems pretty good so far and I have combined this copper tape with slug repellent pellets for maximum effect. Worth using and easy to apply to all types of material as very sticky and easy to cut and use. Might need to be reapplied or double banded depending on weather.

My runner bean plants were being feasted on nightly by our extensive slug and snail colony to the point where every new shoot was being munched and the bottom if the plants were entirely stripped.I added a single row of the wider size copper tape around the large planter my beans were growing in & then that night watched.Much to my surprise after a wet day lots of slugs and snails were on the pot and circling it below the copper line. I watched as several tried to cross the line , got half way across then turned back. Whilst I watched one cocky adolescent snail made it across the copper & learnt the hard way that crime doesn't pay as I tossed it up the garden!In the morning I found 2 snails on the plant where I would normally find 8-10 or more. These of course could have been in it pre tape. However over the next few nights I watched the same pattern with most slugs and snails turning back & only 1 or 2 found on the plant in the morning.2 weeks on , my bean plants are absolutely thriving & huge. The leaves lower down have regrown & the whole plant is lush with leaves and flowers. The occasional snail gets through , not sure if this is through braving the tape or through climbing on via surrounding plants & fence but not enough now to do any real damage.So I would say that the tape is 85%+ effective and I will definitely be using it extensively in the future. I do think to increase its effectiveness it may be worth doing a double ring of tape around a pot so that any cheeky snails chancing the crossing have double the reason to turn back. But this definitely works well enough to make a difference if you make 100% sure that there are no gaps in the tape around the potI would definitely buy this product again.

The thickness of this tape is really decent; far better than others I have purchased in the past. I believe it is starting to make a difference as a slug deterrent. What's impressive though is the seller also advertised that it also works as an EMI shield and to my surprise this worked brilliantly! Versatile tape and worth 5 stars just for that

Strong adhesion, quite flimsy so it blows around and it ends up sticking to itself if cut too long. As a deterrent, seems a mixed bag.Experiment n. 1Saw a small snail crawl over it, then stay there for about a minute before heading back the way it came. Hooray!Galvanised, I tried to push it a bit further, in:Experiment n. 2I picked up a big fat snail from my magnolia tree and placed it right on the tape. it stood there for a few seconds then it started crawling forward, until it fell right into my veg bed.So fair to say, mixed bag and NOT trusting this to keep my veggies safe, so bought some eco-friendly pellets while I wait for my nematodes to be delivered...

This is my second purchase of this item. It works! My garden due to the rain, is full of large slugs and this product keeps them off my plants and tubs. Looks good on beige pots. Would recommend and purchase again.

I bought thie tape to protect the small plants I grew from seed when they were planted out from slugs mainly in a year when we have a vast number of slugs. So far so good!

Es handelt sich um ein ganz gutes, dünnes, absolut festklebendes Kupferband, dass gezielt zum Stopp gegen den Schneckefrass eingesetzt werden kann. Habe es als Barriere gegen lästige Schnecken um meine Hochbeete geklebt.Tolle Sache, absolut empfehlenswert.

“Una imagen vale más que mil palabras”.Compramos la cinta para que los caracoles no suban a una mesa con cactus y crasas.Se colocó ayer y hoy están todos los caracoles esperando en el otro lado pero sin entrar.Cumple su función perfectamente.La cinta adhiere muy bien (hasta en ladrillos).Esperamos que los caracoles no aprendan a pasar por encima y no pierda fijación la cinta.
