Fit perfectly!
I have a 2011 Natuzzi leather couch with built in recliner. The recliner release ring is located on the inside of the sofa between the sofa seat at the armrest. After years of use, the D ring came loose and slipped off with no way to reattach it. I finally decided to take the time to research and find a replace d ring/cord and came across this listing. Once I looked at the bottom side, it was a bit more complex to reinstall so I hired a local leather repair man to do the fix. He removed the seat portion of the sofa and installed this unit. A perfect match!! Time will tell how long it'll last, hopefully longer than the factory version did. :-)

Worth the effort
So we put this on over six months ago and no issues. I wish we would have done earlier. Both sides had broke and we replaced both of them.It wasn’t that hard to replace, but not quite as easy as I thought it would. I took a bunch of pictures as I took the old one off to reference. The second one was a lot easier. Also found YouTube videos to watch others fix their chairs and couches. That was also helpful. It’s worth the effort to replace.

Fit perfectly
There are a lot of cable sizes so I was concerned about proper fit, but it fit perfectly. Install took me about an hour because I had to take the seat off to access the cable. Best to tape twine to the old cable before pulling it out so you can attach the new cable to the twine and pull it through. This saved me trying to thread it through the upholstery.

Great cable, looks well made.
The installation is a factor of the Natuzzi product. The sectional requires disassembly. Then the recliner requires removal from the frame, 4 screws and 4 anchor screws followed by removal of the recliner. Then the cable can be swapped. Then the process can be reversed. Simple. After that, it's all good.

It works, but...
It functions for what it was designed for. It took me a few hours to install it. Slightly frustrated by the plastic around the cable. I can see that it was designed to protect the cable itself, it just falls a little short. Whenever you pull the handle, it gets stuck on a plastic lip and you have to manually fiddle with it to go back into the cable sleeve which keeps the footrest down, every time. I’d replace it again if it didn’t take so long to install on my Natuzzi recliner. It wouldn’t be problematic if the plastic inner sleeve were like 2-3” longer. This problem could easily be avoidable.

Take a picture or tape one end of the old one to the end of the new cable to route it.
I had one side broken and it had fallen out of place so I did not know exactly how to route it. I uncovered the other side and just copied the way it was routed. Getting the screws in the side bracket was a pain even with a 90 degree ratchet Phillips screwdriver. With a little perseverance, got it together. The cable works great.

Handle worked for my Natuzzi recliner!
The handle was absolutely perfect! Natuzzi is Italian made and the replacement handle is hard to access. I used 14 mm socket to replace everything. The handle is perfect. The replacement process is hard, but by no fault of the handle provider/seller.

Cheaper than the brand name part and it does the job
I solved the problem by installing this but the way it’s attached you’d have to remove the entire side of the sofa to screw it in correctly. I was able to rig it up so the motion on the sofa now works but it’s not attached as it should be however it Did what I needed it to do
