I Can See At Night Again!
Bought these as a replacement for the premium halogen bulbs in my Windstar. The halogens did a fine job, but as they aged, they started to lose a little of their output. After about three years, it was time to replace them. I was faced with a decision: Buy another set of the halogens at about 40 USD. ...Or look into LED replacements.I came across these BeamTech LED replacements for about the same cost as the premium halogens. I did look at some other LED options, but after looking at some reviews and watching some YouTube videos, I decided these were the best fit for my needs. The install was a little more involved than a direct halogen replacement, but I expected that. The most important thing was (is) to get the orientation correct. Pay attention to this step because improperly installed LED headlamps will not give the proper light spread and can be downright dangerous in some situations.OK, now for the first test: A little after sunset I decided to see how these LED's performed. Honestly, I did not have really high expectations. We all know that some ads can "exaggerate" things sometimes. Well, I was amazed right from the start. The premium halogens were never this bright even when brand new. The road in front of me was bathed in a brilliant white light with just the slightest tinge of pale blue. On a back road, I put the high beams on and it did light up way further down the road than before.I will admit that I was a little concerned about the brightness of these LED's. Bur I never got flashed by any oncoming traffic. So I think these are keepers. Of course I can not say anything about the lifespan of these since I just recently installed them.Overall, I would feel comfortable in recommending these LED replacements. They just work....when installed properly.

Installs fine on 2002 F350 diesel Superduty with two batteries - no mods needed.
Writing this just to mention that I've seen some reviews from people installing on a 99+ Superduty complaining of needing to buy other parts or having to remove things like batteries to get them installed. That's all BS, and they install perfectly fine IF you follow the directions. Granted the instructions aren't the best ever, but they are adequate and they install perfectly fine without having to remove anything or purchase any adapters or anything else for that matter. Maybe if you have Andre the Giant hands you might have clearance issues, but I had no issues with clearance whatsoever. The difference in lighting between my 20 year old bulbs that were installed since the truck was new vs these is like night and day. - Literally! HAH! Gave them 4 stars instead of 5 only because the wire coming out of the bulb has to make a sharp 90 degree bend and although it fits, it'd be better if that bend wasn't so tight to not put strain on the wires.

Wow! What a difference!
I ordered these for a 2010 Nissan Frontier. Amazon's listing indicated that they would fit. The caveat is that they will not fit without modifying the plastic retainer ring Nissan uses to hold the bulb in place. It isn't a simple insert and twist like the instructions indicate.I used a Dremel tool with a sanding drum to enlarge the opening in the white plastic retaining rings as I had read in other reviews. I'm glad I had read them because otherwise I would not have known that this was needed. Once doing so, I could slide the retainers over the fan portions and cords so that they could be twisted into place to hold the bulbs. I installed the driver's side first and tested it. What a difference. I had a supposedly white halogen bulb in before but it was positively yellow compared with the LED bulb.I am getting older so the improved visibility with these new bulbs is greatly appreciated. I did not rate longevity because I have not had them long enough to do so. With a 30,000 hour rating, they should last a very long time. With the engine running, I do not notice any fan noise from these bulbs. I had to look to see if the fans were operating, they were so quiet. It might be more noticeable if the engine is not running, Another benefit is lower power requirements for the LED bulbs so having the lights on without the engine running won't run the battery down as quickly as the halogen bulbs would have. Thanks Beamtech!

Bright lights with a sacrifice
I bought these to replace some halogen bulbs in my e99 Ford F250. The bulbs come packaged nicely and look and feel like they are well made. On my truck, the bulbs are held in place by a plastic lock ring. The lock ring has tabs in a ring around the inside that hold the back of the bulb. I had to break a few of the tabs out to fit these new bulbs because they have cooling fans and a pigtail for the electrical connection. It was the only way I could slip the ring around the bulbs. I've had them in for a month and they seem to be staying in place so far. I have also found that the headlights cause some radio interference on some of my radio stations, in particular the ones with weaker signals. They are much brighter than the halogens, beam spread is nice, the change to high beam is better than the stock halogens. I'm satisfied with these, but if I got to do it over again, I'd try a bulb that didn't have a pigtail electrical connection.
