This is a flexible trim which looks like hand carved wooden mill-work trim or applique. I used it to change a modern mantel into a more classic style.PROS:Being extruded, there is no sanding or prep work required as is with wooden millwork.Pretty. Easy to cut/splice. Lightweight. Easier to store unused portions, than to store long wooden pieces. Easy to mount (use the appropriate glue. Follow the included instructions).Paints easily (with the proper kind of paint. Follow the included instructions).CONS:None noted. *But using the wrong paint or glue will leave you (unfairly to the manufacturer) unhappy with the product.COMPS:As compared to long wooden, hard PVC, or stiff urethane trim, this can be rolled up and is easier to store and use.VERDICT:Good value for money, in direct comparison with traditional products. I love how it looks on my mantle and have a few feet left over, which I am excited to find other creative decorating uses for.I hope you found this information helpful. I used this in my bathroom. This is very cool stuff! It’s flexible, so I was able to push it into corners and go around a corner. I put it up with mounting tape, which was not that easy, so I taped it up with painters tape and then took some Elmers glue and squeezed it into some of the gaps. I’m still going to have to close some of the gaps on top, since I put the mounting tape more toward the bottom. It is adhering very well at this point and I’m not looking for perfection. It looks very nice! Really classes the place up. I’d say that it was pretty easy to work with and if you can find a better adhesion method than mine, you’ll be even better off than me with it.

I painted it black and made a frame. Easy to cut. Easy to paint. Easy to nail to wall. Looks gorgeous!

Due to some of the negative comments I was a little hesitant to buy this but I'm glad I did. I put it up with panel nails instead of glue and painted it black. Looks awesome! I'm gonna buy more eventually.

This product is fantastic. Solid, yet easy to cut (scoring with knife), paintable, and very flexible! I used it to transform an old, boring mirror frame into a beauty with lots of personality! I will be using this product again in the future.

This is the best thing ever. I bought like a hundred of these rolls for a board and batten type decoration on my staircase wall that is curved and it worked out perfectly. The “no paint” thing is confusing but I figured out after much trial and error that if you need to paint them with any kind of spray paint, you will first need to prime them with an oil based primer or your spray paint will not dry, it will be sticky for WEEKS. I used killz brand primer that I sprayed on. Then any spray paint will work over the top of that and will dry like normal. What’s even better is if you just use a latex paint then you don’t have to use a primer first, it dries perfectly normal. I got a bucket of latex paint and put it in my paint sprayer and sprayed it on for a perfect finish. This is my favorite molding, easy to cut with scissors, and I used a nail gun to hang it and it worked flawlessly. I highly recommend it. I really need like 10 more rolls for another wall and I am so devastated that it is currently unavailable and I am PRAYING that it comes back in stock soon. PLEASE!!!

Looks great! Spray paint stays on well. The only problem is that we couldn’t leave them white because the two spools we ordered were different color white.

Absolutely beautiful. Easy to handle because it is not fragile. Exciting possibilities on furniture, frames and more applications. Gorgeous!!
