Very nice product for the money.
I used to have the traditional leather wallet, but decided to give this a try. It took a little bit to get used to using it but it's very functional and keeps all the cards/money together very nicely. It's much smaller and compact than my old leather wallet and doesn't look as bulky in the pocket. I also dropped it on the concrete floor and was relieved to see that it barely left a mark on it. It landed squarely on the corner too. The screws that hold it together fit very flush so it doesn't snag on clothing when removing from pockets etc.. Overall I'm very pleased with this product.

Minimalistic, form over function, secure
When I received my package, which arrived way ahead schedule, I was confused at first. There was no information that came with the product. No literature. Just a screwdriver, extra screws, and this metal looking thing that somewhat resembled a wallet. It is definitely smaller than I anticipated and I feel that it somewhat puts form over function. It's very tight and to actually find the card I need takes an extra 45-60 seconds to find. I know that sounds like an empty complaint but its true. I do like the product. It looks cool and I know my cards and cash are safe because of how tight the design is.

Value dependent on each users use and need
This wallet is an excellent value for the money. It is of good build and made of what seems quality materials. The carbon fiber wallet is 7 mm when empty and another mm thicker with each card you put into it. I won't be using it on a daily basis because my old wallet is thinner and lighter because of the material it is made of. The carbon fiber wallet is heavier when empty than my old wallet with all 9 cards in it. My old wallet looks thick in the picture but that is because it is puffed up. When in my pocket it gets flattened down and is thinner.I am keeping my old wallet for daily use and the carbon fiber wallet for travel. I only need a couple of credit cards and my id so it will be thin enough to be comfortable. Also, the RFID blocking aspect is good to have when traveling.

Tough to "open", no instructions on use.
I am satisfied with this purchase. It was meant as a replacement for my previous "money clip". This "wallet" is way slimmer than my previous one. It came with no instructions, so at first I thought I had to disassemble or assemble it. As it came with a "screwdriver" and two replacement screws. It does not require this. It is just difficult to open. This wallet might be easier to open and use over time. Although, right now, it is difficult to open and get the specific card you need unless you only have two cards. The construction is sturdy. The clip part is currently firm and money, so far, does not fall out. The carbon fiber appears to not easily retain fingerprints or smudges. The elastic has not been damaged by a credit card multi-tool I have.If I remember, I will update this review at a later date.

This is a high quality item. not junky or fragile or strange.
From what I understand, this is a "knock off" of the more expensive Ridge Wallet. I've had this wallet a few weeks and it works great and seems to be of very high quality and is solid. The clip hold bills very securely. Of course the cards are always completely secure, they cannot fall out. I got tired of a traditional wallet and especially a cell phone wallet in which the cards can fall out. I decided that any wallet which can lose a card is worthless. There are many types of wallets out there including various minimalist types, but my number one criterion must be that a card cannot fall out. That should be your first defining standard. Everything else you want in a wallet should be a secondary consideration, but you do not want a wallet that can lose a card. If a wallet can lose a card - eventually it will.

The 10$ ridge wallet knockoff
First off, the screwdriver included is junk, toss it because it will strip your screws. If you ever need to take the screws out, its only to replace the straps.I assume this is what the $100+ ridge wallets would be, but only costing 10$.This is as thin as a wallet can get, but the downsides is that only two of the cards are easily accessible, but the cards you choose to stack in the middle aren't impossible to get to at least, but you will be bumbling/fumbling around for a bit. If you choose to use the cash clip, bills will have worn edges, there is no avoiding that since its on the outside of everything.
