Smooth and MEDIUM, not Fine!
I have had my Waterman roller ball for many years, I love the look of it but have always been dissatisfied with the way it writes, it was scratchy and Fine despite the pen claiming to be Medium. I have bought refills a couple of times before, once genuine Waterman and most recently an "own brand" from a well known nationwide news agents but they were still fine and scratchy. These Shmidt refills have transformed my pen into a pen I can at last enjoy using. Medium width and smooth to write with. Oh joy, why didn't I buy these earlier! And with six of them they are so much cheaper as well! Recommended.

Great value replacement for Waterman refills
The rollerball refills were purchased for a vintage Waterman Harmonie rollerball pen. Although it is not an exact fit ( the tip protrudes a couple of millimetres), this does not effect functionality, and writes very smoothly ( German engineering I suppose). Given that a single Waterman refill is around £5, the packet of 6 Schmidt refills offers excellent value for money. Unless they dry out in the years to come, will probably last me a lifetime since this pen is 1 of 5 rollerballs I have on rotation!

Lovely ink quality
I have two Scrivener pens one black colour and one blue. I now have the black pen with black ink, blue pen with.... blue ink. Seems OK so far but these fountain effect roller ball pens don't last long albeit nice to write with and lovely results.

Fit a Waterman Hemisphere just fine, and are so much nicer than whatever Waterman decided to include with my Pen, but that's another story.

Possibly the smoothest ink ever
Lovely refills for my expensive rollerball. Best ink I think I've ever used. Would 100% recommend and will definitely buy again. Other colours, turquoise etc would be lovely but you can't have everything!
