I swear there's a crispness or something to sea salt
This is best used beside the stove as you cook. It's not really a table salt, though it would work if used in a grinder.I guess it's hard to believe, but I really feel like sea salt has just a bit of difference in flavor, compared to normal table salt. Just some sort of crispness or something it's hard to articulate.Well, whatever. We love this stuff and we'll use every bit of it. Unfortunately it's likely to be an occasional treat or splurge item, but if it fits your budget, it's a good item to consider.Don't forget to use the Smile.Amazon.com address - It's an Amazon program where many things you buy every day will generate a small donation to the charity of your choice. Nice Fine Grain In A Convenient Resealable Bag
I like using Mediterranean sea salt in shakers and recipes, but too often it isn’t fine-grained enough, or there are hidden clumps within the packaging. Drogheria & Alimentari's is a perfect consistency, and a little goes a long way. When seasoning, less is needed for full rounded flavor.I also like that it comes in a resealable bag versus traditional circular tubes or boxes. We don’t have air-conditioning—during summer months, salt tends to clump and become damp. Resealable bags do a much better job keeping moisture out, and as an added measure, I place that bag in another plastic bag during hot, humid months. As a result, getting this 43.74 oz. bag is economical and every salt grain gets used.

Good flavor
I love this brand. I have used it before and I have loved everything I have tried. This is no exception. The flavor is good and the price is great for the amount.

Getting honest value for a product that is not more and not less than it claims to be
My mistake. I am one of those folks who laugh about people (silently) who drink water imported from France or Timbuktu. Water is water as long it is chemically safe and taste just like - water. No aftertaste. So when I bought this salt I must have been asleep. Because in spite of its super fancy packaging, foreign references of its origin and a good PR job (if you don't overstatements).Because when it arrived it was what I had ordered: salt.Contrary to my suspicious nature I fell for the hype! Dummy me. So go ahead and buy this salt if you need salt. For those not too familiar with this electrolyte: all salt comes from oceans, mostly very ancient oceans which for the most part have long disappeared. Following proven methods of marketing this product is a prototype of advertising something very, very mundane and making this Chevy into a Ferrari and a Ferrari price to go with it.There is nothing intrinsically wrong with this salt except that that is all it is. Salt. Even if it came from Hoboken.I visited Salzburg in Austria more than once. Look at a map and wonder how it got all the way inland. May be its origin goes back eons (one eon = one million) perhaps from Pangea. If you like old things you must love your salt.

Really Like This Sea Salt
I prefer to use sea salt over processed table salt when cooking and in the salt shaker on the table in the dining room. Oftentimes it can be frustrating when using it in a salt shaker as consistency is often an issue and clumps are often found. I've found the consistency of this brand to be much better than many of the other brands I've tried and I love the fact that it comes in a resealable bag rather than a small container. You get a nice amount of salt, makes it very easy to cook with, and makes filling salt shakers much easier than those plastic containers or tubs do. Highly recommend.

Fine Sea Salt
Many sea salts take on the flavor of the minerals of their source, but this Italian Mediterrean sea salt has no noticeable additional flavor, making it suitable for cooking or finishing. It comes in a large, resealable bag that makes it easy to scoop and measure without waste. The texture is fine, with grains small enough to easily pass through a shaker. Of course, since it's sea salt, it is not iodized and thus does not provide that essential mineral.-- Debbie Lee Wesselmann
