These are nice. My husband and I both like them a lot. They look pretty realistic and are bright like a real candle. We only want to burn beeswax candles, but they are expensive and don't last that long, and usually drip and make a mess. I got tired of spending so much money on beeswax candles. These battery powered candles are a great substitute. They flicker slightly, which adds to the realism. I love the timer function. I just had to turn them on once at the right time in the evening, and now they come on each time. The batteries that came with the candles didn't last very long, only about six weeks. Maybe my expectations are too high. We replaced the batteries and are waiting to see how long the fresh batteries last. Even if I have to replace the batteries every two months, we are still happy with the candles.

These are FANTASTIC. They are 2” in height, they fit in a votive holder perfectly. The timer works great. I have mine on a Blessed Mother Statue to shine at night. (Reminds me to say a prayer). The glow is not white, but a candle color. You won’t be disappointed, plus batteries are cheap. CR2032, on amazon. They last 2 1/2 months with daily usage.

I love that these will light and turn off on their own once turned on. I get the ambience of candles without any smoke or soot, having to trim wicks, or having to go around lighting - and remembering to extinguish - at the evening’s end. They came with batteries installed, but so far only one lit after removing the plastic protector UNTIL I opened and reseated the battery - then all I’ve used so far are working well. Personally, I think they look best inside a candle holder.

I love these. Bought 2 sets & now I have the batteries on Subscribe & Save. Reviews said batteries last about 6 weeks but I'm well over that (2 months maybe?) & I plan to change the batteries this weekend. They're not completely out, just dimmer. The 6 hour timer is perfect for us.Update 10.24.18Bought another set! Holidays are just about here & I needed 2 now for pumpkins so might as well. The other 2 sets are going strong. 1 light was outside & forgotten, it got rained on several times but as soon as I put a new battery in lit right up. These are really great for the price!

A lot smaller and faker looking than expected, but seem pretty long lived and less ugly in the dark and when in use. The photo makes them look both bigger and more artfully "melty" at the tops, both of which are misleading. Also, be prepared for some notable plastic off-gassing smell.Definitely liked the small flickery tea lights I order better for appearance and effect. And these aren't much bigger than a tea light.

Everything about these little candles is exactly as described: they flicker convincingly, the brightness is right, and they are still going strong after I've used them six hours a day for several days. Great for a Christmas mantle.
