Previously, I owned a standard swivel desk chair with five legs. I replaced that chair once because the chair broke at the swivel point. I felt like it wasn’t very sturdy. I love that this chair stands on four legs. I’ve positioned it in the exact place that allows me to swivel to the side to get in and out, yet also reach my desk-top computer keyboard easily. Others commented on a grinding sound when swiveling. I’ve noticed this only happens when you are not sitting firmly back in the chair. I also felt the chair was hard at first and made sort of a crinkling sound. With use, that sound disappeared and the chair is softer now. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase. It remains to be seen as to how long it will hold up, but I’m optimistic.

Granted, it’s right after the holidays and I feel pudgier than my typical self. However, while sitting in the chair this afternoon, I slowly slid forward while a leg gradually popped off. Upon closer inspection as I was sitting on the ground wondering what the heck happened, I saw that another leg was on it’s way off as well. I weigh less than 150 pounds so I doubt I’m exceeding a weight limit for a chair, but it was still sad to end up on the floor nonetheless. I guess it’s a good thing I work from home and my dog was more excited I was on her level as opposed to amused by my less than graceful decent to the floor. I’ve had the chair just shy of 3 months. I could deal with the padding not being the greatest (wore down quickly), but when I popped the leg back on, I set it upright, and I could see it separating again and will not support additional weight.I’m not sure if I’ll try to salvage it by putting ugly bolts to attach all the legs and secure them or if I’ll chalk this up to a total loss (of $170 after tax).Edited down from 2 stars to 1 after closer examination. I can hope to slather on some wood glue and maybe add a bolt but I wouldn’t trust it to actually sit again. Less than 3 months and my “return window” was 30 days after delivery. I could have purchased a crappy ugly basic desk chair for less than $100 that probably would have lasted 3 years or more and I can’t find any way to get money back, get an exchange, or even get a stupid apology.Edit #2. I just went back and looked at other reviews. The one and two star reviews confirm that the chair is consistently ok for 2-3 months and then the legs break off. From the time frame of the reviews, they all look to be manufactured the same time as those reviews weren’t up when I purchased at the end of October but cropped up in November and January. DO NOT BUY.

This is a pretty good chair. I love the look of it, it’s cute in an office, or a bedroom or living room. It’s not as plush as it looks, the seat is very firm but the fabric is soft. It was too tall for my desk so I use it as a side chair in the bedroom.I’ve had it for two years and recently, as mentioned in other reviews, two of the legs began separating from the base. I emailed the manufacturer and expected to pay for new legs, which I understood because I’ve had the chair for two years. But I never received a response to my inquiry.Then today, a package arrived unexpectedly and when I opened it up, it was the chair legs! So that was a very nice surprise. I added one star just for that. Now my chair is good as new. Thank you!!

So I ordered this chair and when it arrived the leg was broken. I sent it back and reordered the same chair even though I was a little skeptical. And I’m so glad I did! I love this chair! It’s comfortable and it also swivels!

The chair looks great but the cushioning is very stiff and crunches...weirdly. I would recommend a lumbar cushion to be comfortable on your back too. It wasn't too difficult to assemble. I returned the chair because of the stiff crunchy seat. The seller was responsive and customer service was great. Unfortunately the return process turned into a mess. I paid the return shipping costs and the seller created a FedEx shipping label. I dropped the chair off at FedEx...two weeks later the chair was returned to me. They were unable to deliver the chair to the seller, I have no idea why. I emailed the seller. They seemed to indicate I did something wrong.... I took pics to show there were no conflicting labels. The seller scheduled FedEx to pic up the box (which FedEx practically destroyed when box got back to me) I put the box out for pick up and it sat there for a week. I had to bring it in each night...and the seller stopped returning my emails asking about when it would be picked up...I had to contact Amazon twice before I got responses for when it would be picked up (eventually it was) and the status of the return. So, if you like this chair and don't mind that it is stiff and the cushions crunch, it's a great chair. Otherwise, be sure it is what you really want. I think it would probably be best for waiting rooms where comfort and weird crunchy sounds aren't important.

Pros include: Easy to assemble, nice construction, easy to swivel, lovely color, lightweight, comfortable, and just as pictured.My Cons include: The chair is too tall! I'm 5'6" yet this chair was too tall for me to sit in without using a footstool. It would probably be okay for my 5'11" spouse, but definitely not for me! Also, the off-gassing! I brought the package in, set it aside for the night to assemble the next day. By morning, the chemically stink was all over the room. Upon going to unpack it, the smell didn't seem to come from the seat itself, so I went ahead and put the chair together, thinking it might somehow have been just the box/packaging and put the box outside. No. It was not! Within half an hour I could barely stand to be in the same room as the chair because of the smell! Now I have to figure out how to return it because it can't be in the same house as me, the chemical/manufacturing smells are so strong!

Very comfortable. Easy to put together. Love the swivel.

Lovely looking swivel chair! The seat is firm but still comfortable to sit in. Stylish in my office.

The chair leg broke within the first six months of use. Very disappointed. Would return it if I could.

Joint on one of the chair legs not glued properly so came out and now the chair is useless
