They work very well and get to me very quickly

Good for packing wounds
These are soft an conform easily so they are good for packing wounds.

Product thickness/absorbency (e.g. what "ply" is bandage)
I needed a 4" bandage roll which was reasonably tightly woven and thick....and this 3-ply (Covidien 441105 Dermacea Gauze Roll, 3-Ply) wasn't it. Certainly didn't help either that if you buy a large quantity (e.g. 96 rolls), they could come to you overtly compressed to the point of needing to be re-rolled.

Packed too tightly
The only reason I'm not returning these is because I need them. I'm thinking these Covidien rolls were "seconds" or imperfect in some way. I say this because they are not as long, or as wide as advertised. They are so thin that I can read through them, which means I'm using 3 times more gauze to dress wounds. Also, these were so jam packed into their plastic bag that I had trouble unrolling the gauze. Very disappoining not to mention a waste of money.
