Carefix Carebag Leg Bag Holder - Large

When I opened the package with the leg bag holder, it took me several minutes to figure out where theopening to the bag sleeve is. The entire bag holder sleeve is very light gauze weight, which I suppose make itmore comfortable to wear, but it is very thin & flimsy. I didn;t have much confidence that it would hold thecath bag, once there was additional weight & volume with liquid. When I went for my procedure, I showed it to theattending nurse, and she just chuckled- but didn't assist me in putting it on. Once the catheter was in, I wasn't incomfortable position to manipulate it- so I didn't bother. Never got to use it.

I had to put up with a Foley catheter for 6 weeks after surgery. It's bad enough having to put up with this but it's the adhesive tape that is the worst. About a week before I had the Foley removed, I put this on and gave it a try. WOW !! Not only was I able to use it during the day with my "Day Bag" but it worked equally as well for my "Night Bag" as well. I still have tape scars on my thigh but they will go away given enough time. This item is a bit pricey but it sure beats taping the leg to hold bags and Foleys in place.

It is an improvement on no holder at all. But either it slips or if made tighter, it cuts off your circulation. I wish that I could find a product that won't slip down you leg. I only use it for social functions that will last less than 3 hours

This product is great. It makes using the leg bag for a catheter so much easier and it stays in place nicely. I love it so much I ordered another one.

I think it is a great idea for securing the bag to the leg without straps, but my husband that has to wear it doesn't like it, says it is too warm, maybe if made of more of a mesh material.
