Very Happy
I ordered this saw as I have to do some roof and fascia board work. Will be up and down ladders making cuts. So having a light weight cordless saw will be very handy to have. Also my old Porter Cable Saw Boss is often at a disadvantage having the motor on the right and the blade on the left while trailing its cord. This new Bosch GKS 18v-57 will retire my 25 year old saw. I just hope it is as reliable.The seller , OverView, delivered much quicker than promised. Was due July 15th-30th, but arrived July 10th. Responded quickly to my email query. The saw was sent from South Korea in a Bosch sealed box inside of another well packaged shipping box. Could not be more satisfied.

Cordless circular saw for right-handed people!
I was waiting so long for Bosch to make an 18V circular saw for right-handed people and it's finally here! Until this one, for some reason, all cordless were left-handed and all corded were right-handed, but now this is a game changer!I'm not a carpenter, but I already used it 5 times and it works pretty good. Only dissapointment is that we don't have "G" version available in US (yet?), which has baseplate compatible with Bosch rail system. Otherwise I'd definetely go for that, as the guide sold with this one is not really that good/accurate.

"Professional"... HAHAHAHAHA!!!
I did a side by side on YouTube. " Bosch 18V-57 [an American's perspective] "The fence is the cheapest I've ever seen on a saw. It's marked with centimeters [if that's a problem, which isn't a deal-breaker for me].Shipping took over 5 weeks. The arrival date added 33 days as soon as I made my purchase, which really upset me. As far as the saw goes, it cuts, but at 3,400 RPM vs the normal Bosch pupsaw's 3,900 RPM. The fence showed up about 1/8" out of line with the blade.This saw is basically crap for twice the price. And I had to wait forever for the disappointment to arrive. I'll use it to train newbies, but it doesn't cut fast, square or straight enough to be branded as PROFESSIONAL.

Too heavy to be light, too slow to make clean cuts.
Not small enough. I like my 6 1/2 much better. Way too pricey to compete with the porter cable.
