Chippewa 1901M38 Men's 4-in Mocc Toe Wedge Oxford Black Whirlwind

I will start off by saying, the moment I put my feet in, they were comfortable. MUCH more comfortable than the redwing mocc toe oxfords. I also added some half insoles which made them even more comfortable.These do run narrow, however they were pretty true to size in length for me. Not nearly as stiff as the redwings, break-in period is a couple of weeks wearing 3+ times per week and walking 1-3 miles per day. Not bad at all, no blisters. The reason I took two stars off is because they claimed to be slip resistant, but these are way more slippery than even my sneakers on wet floors or some sidewalks! It’s so bizarre because vibram soles are usually way more slip resistant. But, I have to avoid manhole covers, steel grates, etc while walking because I will slip. I expected more. But, overall, a very handsome shoe.
