I am 5'7"-5'8", about 185 lbs. These shorts fit me just right, but if I were to gain 5-10 extra lbs, I would have to go up in waist size.These shorts have an excellent "fit." The length is perfect for me. They fit me above the knee, but not too high up where they look like short-shorts. The pockets are deep enough to help keep your items from falling out. Also, I notice they have a YKK brand zipper, which are sturdy, and don't de-rail. I don't see them much anymore, so I was pleasantly surprised with that quality of craftsmanship. Finally, these shorts have a nice, simple label with the waist size, and another one with the style "e.g., slim" which I find helpful in case I was to re-buy this or a similar product.

Runs a couple sizes too small. So beware of that. Good looking shorts but make sure to size up if you’ve got that sexy dad bod.

These shorts are great! They’re just right in how they fit. They don’t feel too heavy nor too thin they feel perfect. I’ve been on a few walks and they have been comfortable.

I really liked these shorts because they are made of cotton and the color is the same as the photo. I am size 36 in pants and it fits perfectly. I don't think it's a slim fit, my legs aren't very thick and it was a little wide. I'm 5'10" tall and weigh 170 lbs with a bit of a belly.

Bought these for my husband. Color and fit were fine but they just lacked a lot of style. Kept them for a rainy day but he wasn’t in love like some of his other shorts I’ve purchased

The first thing look for when reading a review is how the clothing fits on someone my basic height and weight. I saw several reviews that mentioned how these shorts are not slim fit. I seriously discount that statement. I am 6'2", about 190 pounds after losing 32 lbs and at least three inches of my waist line in a contest. Consequently, all of my old golf shorts were WAY too big. Salvation Army. Now looking for newer shorts that actually fit. My thighs are slightly bigger than normal but still some shorts fit as if I was a 20 year old rapper. I'm not, I'm 59. Anyway, the price on these Amazon Essential Golf Shorts was too good to pass up. Bought three pair of the 34" waist. The fit perfectly. The length was at least two inches above the knee and definitely a slim fit, but not too slim. They don't hug the bottom of the thigh. The pockets were nice and ling and there were two belt loops for the back of the shorts next to the spine for extra support with a belt.These shorts fit true to size,look good, inexpensive, and I'm going to order three new colors.

Great shorts color and size are exact. This was the second pair I've purchased. They fit pretty snug the same as all size 34 pants and shorts I own. Would be nice if they were size 35 but size 36 always seem too large. These are great shorts for golf.

I was looking for an everyday reasonably priced pair of shorts. I ordered these not expecting too much but they turned out to be an excellent pair of shorts. I am a smaller man and they fit nicely around my hips and legs. Not too baggy but not tight enough where you can’t bend over to pick stuff up. I am 5’5” and they sit just above the knee. They are a good quality shorts and are well made. Be aware that the colours in the description picture is a lot lighter than the actual product. I ordered the grey and khaki with anchors and they were considerably darker but still really nice. Order as per size. I bought the 30 waist and they were an exact fit. I’ve already got 3 more pairs in my cart.
