My 2 year old female cat has been suffering chronically with urine infections both bacterial and stress related and I’ve tried ever remedy under the sun! She turned her nose up at purina eventually, so I ordered these as a last hope sorta situation!She’s on day 4 of eating it and she clears the plate everytime! And she rarely eats all of her food, before she would just lick the gravy and leave the meat whereas it seems with this she actually enjoys eating the meat.It is only 70g compared to the usual 85g packs you find in other products but paired with a food topper or dry food she seems to be completely happy with her new meals!I was a bit skeptical but I’m glad I gave it a try

Got it just to try as my cats are fussy but they actually seemed to have enjoyed it and a bonus if it does help with the future issues

I have a fussy cat that needs urinary wet food daily and some brands can be expensive this one seemed reasonable and he seems to like it so yes it value for money and he likes the taste so all good

Having a 17 year old fussy cat, I tried these as he constantly changes his mind as to what he'll eat. He has dementia & I'm sure he forgets to eat, plus teeth that aren't so good, yet he seems to find the smaller chunks easier to manage when he does eventually eat, as he clears the plate.

So, I had high hopes. I can’t speak for my cat, so I won’t. But, the food didn’t look very appealing and I questioned what’s in it and the smell was not a familiar one. It wasn’t a bad or a good smell, just different. That being said, it does pack a lot of food in there and likely gives value for money. My cat wasn’t interested (I tried adding a little to her normal food at a time so as to not shock her, but no cigar...she ate around it and when I finally tried a bigger portion, she ate nothing). Again, hard to advise unless I taste it myself and that’s not something I want to do. I’m sure it’s fine for some cats.

OK so expect a lot of gravy and a few chunks like the Felix cat soups. My cat refused the two the vet reccomended - Hills and Royal Canin, and so this is the only one he gobbles the lot! The advantage of having sooo much gravy, is it really does increase cats water intake as they notoriously under drink. Tips:- Cats avoid water placed by food as associated with contamination by a kill, place water far from food.- Cats will always opt for flowing water, mine loves the Catit fountain (on Amazon) or sometimes he jumps up and asks for kitchen tap to turn on.- If your cats urinary symptoms don't improve, and they still squat with no / little urine output, it's a medical emergency. Male cats get life threatening bladder stones - take them to the vet ASAP.My cat has bladder sludge (pre cursor to stones) so has transitioned from 100% dry to 100% wet diet. He loves his Almo. I've now subscribed to 20 units (x6 in a pack) as he needs 4x pouches a day at just shy of 7kg.

Some reviewers have said that the smell of the cat food is off putting but I don’t think it smells offensive. The cat likes it which is the main thing. My only criticism is that the pouches of food are only 70g whereas most brands are 85g, and there is quite a lot of gravy so I have to use more sachets than usual. It’s useful to have as backup if the usual brand I buy isn’t available.
