PowerOne Pocket Charger for ACCU Plus Rechargeable Hearing Aid Batteries (Size 312, 13 and 10)

I was disappointed with results of the charger. I stated above the problem with it.

I paid $145 for this and it took a 5 hour charge. The 1st time I tried to recharge 312 hearing aid batteries it didn’t work at all. I think it’s to .02 charging cable the Chinese came up with. It’s a great idea, but is just a rip off. I would not recommend this to a friend. I have no idea of where to look for a replacement cable.

Only charges the batteries for 5-6 hours. Totally useless. DON'T BUY

I read directions and don’t understand when they are charged or charging.

This self-contained charger is small enough to fit into a laptop bag or purse, and can charge a pair of 312 hearing aid batteries in just a couple of hours. To recharge the charger, plug the included USB cable into a computer or USB charging slot, and it will refill itself. However, the flaw in design is in the retractable cable; if you pull on the cable to remove the USB plug, it pulls the connection apart, rendering the unit unchargeable, and therefore, useless.I just ordered a second unit because of this, and added a three-year warranty to it. I can't see spending ~$85 every six months or so, because that drives up the overall cost of batteries, and I might as well just buy disposables. PowerOne, please redesign your device with non-retractable cable, or strengthen the connection to the USB connector. Do that, and I'll change this to a 5-star rating!

Batteries need re-charging every 4 or 5 hours .... so you have to carry this with you all the time, with your expensive 'spare' batteries re-charging.Poor design/construction ..... wiring breaks loose inside .... I'm a technician so I can open it and re-solder the connections, but most people won't be able to do this.Comparing price + a double set of batteries, to 'Amazon's' bulk pack ..... it would take 3 to 5 years to break-even –– if it lasted that long !! Waste of money.
