I use X4 for some basic artwork, banner layouts and overlays. I have used X4 on Vista no problem, then upgraded to Windows 8 with no problems and I have recently upgraded to Windows 10. The only thing I have seen with Windows 10 is some of the tabs at the top aren't visible until you move your mouse cursor over that area. Other than that it has been working fine for the basic uses I use X4. I hope this helps.

In the artwork, we do for banners and flags, we only use 3-4 layers for designs and it works well for us.

Q: Will CorelDraw X4 work on Windows 8.1?

I have tried CDX4 on my Windows 8/8.1, and it would work to a degree. It may work with W8 proper, but 8.1 (incl. the update) can be much of a headache when it comes to metro apps - they tend to shut down. It may be a registry issue, so check this tip out (http://superuser.com/questions/833970/windows-8-1-apps-wont-work-after-installing-coreldraw-x4). The current versions of X6, and X7 works. Hope that helps.
