We only have heavy winds in winter. This model has more structure and is therefore heavier. A slight breeze doesn't turn it at all. We've placed it in three different locations trying to catch more of the breezes but I guess we'll have to wait for autumn/winter to get the full effect of the spin that I liked so much in the video when I chose it.

The vanes of the spinner are not positioned to catch the wind. Would not rotate even in strong wind. Retirned it

Love this item but it must be positioned in line with the breeze. Would be great if the top segment of the stem turned as the breeze shifts. The nuts holding the bearing and fins will rust after only a few months in the wild.

Love my solar wind spinner in the yard. It gives a soft glow at night and spins easily when the wind blows

Light doesn't lite up just a bare faint glow. Spinner works great and looks nice just miss a nice light at night.

I like the color and the idea, and have moved it around in my yard several times hoping for more movement with the wind but for some reason it doesn't hardly spin at all.

Don’t waste your money. Mine does not & has never spun - even after relocating several times & even during high winds!

We purchased this at Christmas time and the computer said it wouldn’t be here until the first of the year but it made it the day before Christmas! It was easy to install and it’s in the yard.
