SP Ableware 61313 Autodrop Eye Drop Guide, Blue

This eyedrop guide works great. However, it needs to be used according to the directions that are enclosed in the packaging, and that are also demonstrated in the short video that is available on the Amazon page for this particular product (SP Ableware 61313 Autodrop Eye Drop Guide). I almost didn't purchase this model when I read a one-star Amazon review from May 20, 2026, that is entitled "Do not Buy", and which includes 3 photos. However, I saw that the most of the other reviews for this product were quite favorable, so I took a chance. When I went back later and took another glance at that one-star review, it was very obvious why that purchaser had problems. You could see in the review's attached photos that the eyedrop bottle was inserted into the guide upside-down, so that the part of the eyedrop bottle that needed to be squeezed to eject an eyedrop was inside the apparatus and out of reach. There was no possible way to accurately hold the guiding portion of the product in place around the eye, since it was being held upside-down facing the opposite direction, away from the eye. It's very apparent in the photos that the reviewer attempted to squeeze forcefully through the plastic section of the product in an effort to coerce the eyedrop out of the bottle, which resulted in breaking the apparatus the first time it was used, as articulated by the reviewer and illustrated in one of the photos. After inserting the eyedrop bottle into the guide as illustrated on the description card (4 sentences long) and as demonstrated in the video (30 seconds), successful use of the product involves placing the bottom portion of the eyecup so that it assists in holding open your lower eyelid, and then looking upward toward the pinhole in the apparatus in order to help keep your upper eyelid open as you squeeze the bottle to apply a drop. For me personally, I've got an issue with an injury on one side of one of my eyes, so I needed to note where the drop landed the first time I used it, and then when it was not centered on the exact location where I wanted it to fall, I was able to adjust the placement of the contoured cup slightly to one side, so that during future applications, I would know the position where I needed to hold the cup so that the drop would fall on the exact spot where I needed it. I also found it to be helpful to lay back on a bed while I applied the drops.

I have used these before and they work well,especially for someone alone.

I purchased this because I have issues with having dry eyes due to complications with Lasik eye surgery I ended up selecting this one because it was cheaper than some of the other ones that are available the only problem is is I buy the big bottles of eye drops and there's not sufficient amount of space between where the eyedropper bottle ends and your eye between where the eyedropper bottle ends and your eye contact begins that makes me feel safe enough to use this I could have returned it but given that it was near my eye and on my face I decided not to return it because I thought that'd be kind of gross I didn't want somebody to get things that have been used in a medical context so I didn't return it I probably will end up not buying this product again if you use much smaller bottles I don't think it would be a problem but it didn't work for my use case

I used it right away for some very expensive prescription eyedrops and it worked perfectly. Don't be misled by one of the review photos showing the bottle inside the device, only the tip goes inside. If you want something to squeeze the bottle that's a different device, not this one.

Going into my 1st cataract surgery I had no eyedrop experience, so I got this product. Used it with "combination drops", where the 3 required meds are combined into a single suspension for convenience. The compounding pharmacy packages this in a bottle with an unusually large opening, presumably for the benefit of folks with arthritic hands. They warn you not to squeeze the bottle, rather to gently tap and wait for a drop to come out. Well, I ended up with many drops landing on my cheek instead of my eye. Fast forward to my 2nd cataract surgery 2 years later. Used the same Autodrop dispenser and the same combo drops (still didn't want to deal with multiple bottles 3x/day), and wanted to do better. This time I got it: Step 0: Find one of the Autodrop PDF instruction sheets online (there's an English-only and a multi-language) that are easier to read than the instructions on the box. Then: While sitting normally, head upright or tilted downward, get the Autodrop with bottle into position on your eye. You can take your time because the bottle is horizontal or tilted down so it won't drip. Make sure the hand holding the Autodrop isn't blocking the pinhole and you can look at it and see light. With the Autodrop firmly in place on your face, and your eye open and looking at the pinhole, quickly tilt your head up so you're facing the ceiling. If there's a drop waiting to drip, it'll do it now and your eye will be ready to catch it. If nothing happens in a few seconds, squeeze the bottle (or tap it if it's that kind of bottle), and the drop that comes out will land right in your eye. Remove the Autodrop, close your eye, and keep facing the ceiling for a minute, more or less, to give the drop time to soak in.

Soy de las personas que cierran el ojo antes de que caiga la gota, este producto ayuda a no cerrar el ojo y como se ve algo obscuro por dentro no tengo ese "miedo" de cerrar antes el ojo, muy muy práctico

Es un producto muy bueno, que facilita el poner las gotas en los ojos, cuando uno no tiene a nadie que le ayude.
