Perfect travel companion
It actually works. I was skeptical due to the limited number of reviews, but it controlled my Sony and LG TVs first try. Make sure you download the ZaZaRemote and enable screen autorotation. The black end must point to your TV, if you dont rotate your phone it's not going to work. Should be obvious but these days people eat Tide pods. The main reason I bought this is to be able to change the TV input at hotels, too frequently they use TVs with no physical buttons and they lock the remote down to not be able to change source. I fully expect this will allow me to bypass that annoyance so I can plug my Roku stick into the HDMI port. Note, of course not all hotels lock their TVs down this extreme, but recently I had 3 in the past month so that did. Here's to hoping it works on the next trip!

Buyer Beware Description is false don’t work on Apple Lightning Connector save your time & money!!!!
Buyer beware!!! This will NOT WORK with Apple IPhone lightning connector any way at all period! So save your time and money this cannot be used on a Apple iPhone that requires Lightning Connector. Very disappointed and the description is very misleading a Lie. Not a happy buyer at all!!!

WORKS VERY WELL on my Android smartphone! Lets me control hotel TVs and record buttons, too!
I read the other reviews and was hesitant to buy this as a result. Well, I'm glad I bought this, because IT WORKS LIKE A CHARM!!! Small in size, low in price, easily clipped to my backpack, and the app is packed with features.I purchased the Android version and the ZaZa Remote app is still available on Google Play as of 3/31/19. My Dad and I were in a few Marriott hotels that use LG TVs and it wouldn't let us switch the input or adjust the aspect ratio of the TVs. I figured it was worth the purchase to see if I could fix this, as well as stop the volume from going up or down 4 levels with each button press on the remote. In short, it let me fix all of this and more! The ZaZa remote app connected to the hotel network, recommended the remote settings it suggested would work with the TV, and had me try them out to confirm. It worked on the first try!At first, I thought the remote features were pretty basic. Then I figured out I could configure the remote inside the app, add or remove buttons, change the button layout, AND EVEN RECORD button presses from the IR TV remote! Why aren't other reviews pointing this out?!? This feature is AMAZING!!! All you have to do to add pre-programmed buttons is press the "..." button on the lower right, then scroll through the list to pick the one(s) you want to add. I took a few screenshots to show you.In the end, I had a fully functioning LG TV remote, complete with an orange NETFLIX button I recorded from the hotel remote. I included a screenshot in the pictures so you can see the layout I made, as well as get an idea of some of the pre-programmed buttons that are included. I also was able to disable the vibrate on button press feature, as I hate when my phone vibrates and wastes the battery for nothing. If you want to record buttons, all you have to do it press the "..." button on the top right, select "Edit IR", point the remote at the adapter and press the button on the remote you're recording while they face each other. Then, just assign the button face you want. The NETFLIX button was orange-ish on the hotel remote, so I chose an orange button. Also, the app allows you to flip it upside down, so you can use it easily when the IR adapter is pointing out at the TV. Super impressive stuff here, for such a low price! In short, this is user friendly to the MAX. Have an Android phone and want to control your TV? This is the device for you. For under $20, this thing is super portable and fully functional. Highly recommended. Enjoy!

This will work with any IR sensor products.
Once you download the app, the IR remote worked like it was advertised. If the device name isn't on the list of products, just write it in and your good to go. Perfect for phones that doesn't have a built in remote control.

Do not buy, app required for it is useless.
Unit does work and sends signals, which is cool. But the app required to make it work (zaza) it's pure garbage. Does not find brands of anything, I only managed to program by myself every button for a TV; Roku?? Crashed the app EVERY SINGLE ATTEMPT to program. It was expected for me to program every single button one by one. Conclusion: Watch out for fake reviews and do not buy unless you have a different app to make it work and I tried several.

Adapter itself is solid, app that controls it VERY limited
The adapter actually works well. It has a good range, doesn't drop commands. The app that you have to use to control it however is very limited, it can be tough to find a remote setup with all buttons that you need, especially for navigating menus. There is also no way to simulate a remote with a keypad, so if you used your remote to log into or use smart features on your TV, you can pretty much kiss that funcjk j7ntionality goodbye until you get a different remote /adapter.

Blaster works fine, app sucks
The ir blaster works fine. But the app Zaza remote sucks and wont remember any remotes you set up.

It doesn't really work for changing channels.
Tried to use this on several products but all it would do is turn TVs on and off. It wouldn't connect to cable boxes to change channels.
