I have to be honest and say when I ordered this hat I wasn't expecting much. I honestly thought it was going to be cheap looking but to my surprise it certainly wasn't that. It is well made, the picture does do the product justice and my son loved it (so much that I had to fight him to get it off his head). I bought this as part of a costume for my son's play. It seems very well made, a suede looking material with black stitching around the edges. Light weight and fit my 11 yr olds head. I don't know how this would stand up to regular use or wearing but for what I needed it for, it was perfect AND a bargain too.
