These aprons are very very thin plastic (like a plastic grocery bag that tears easily) and the package only mentions that they comply with FDA 21 CFR 177.1520 for food contact. The box they come in does not mention anything about medical use and so the title/description on Amazon seems very misleading since they are advertising these aprons for medical purposes. We may end up using them in the kitchen but not to protect from anything medical.

Good quality and protective. Used it as PPE on my job and personal home care.
