These are great fire starters! We use them in our wood stove as well as our charcoal bbq grill. They light easy and burn hot. Will definitely buy again, A+

I use these every time I light my Big Green Egg: which is often.I used at least 5+ other offerings in a similar capacity, including BGE’s, and these are the best going.I have also used these to start small fires and in a fireplace: great for this use case as well

I've tried a lot of charcoal starters, as I use my Egg 4-5 nights a week from April to October. I am a huge fan of Fogo lump charcoal, but these starters are not my favorite product. They often take several seconds and attempts before a flame takes hold. Once lit they do accomplish their task of igniting the lump.

They work, but slow to start a fire. Charcoal chimneys and wad of newspaper work better.

These things are junk. I love fogo charcoal, and i figured these would be of the same quality. They are so tightly wound and have so much wax on them that when you do get them lit, they don't stay lit. I found that i had to unwind all the strands to get them to burn properly. I also use the dragon chimney and fan, these have so much wax on them it leaks all over the place after they burn. Will not purchase them again.
