Blichmann QuickCarb Carbonator

Exceptional product. Came with on and off switch and new type of fittings. No leaks. Make sure you tighten everything properly. Carbonated my 5 gal. NEIPA in 30 minutes. Super easy clean up, just run PWB and Star San. In my opinion, this is the most efficient and effective way to carbonate.

Now comes with a on/off switch. They have upgraded since the first one sold. They changed out the hose clips for a non leak, now comes with a switch which is really convenient. Blichmann, listened to their costumes and made some great changes and talk about the quick carb doing its job. It works GREAT!!!

This did not come with the shown black plastic case. It came in a cardboard box. One star is generous for misleading pictures.

I might as well start off with my gripe, especially since it is one of the reasons I purchased this item here rather than somewhere else. The photo clearly shows a nice plastic carrying case. Mine arrived today with no such carrying case. Everything packed in a cardboard box with a handle on top...a sure recipe for disaster if the box gets even slightly wet. As far as how well it carbonates beer, I can't answer that as I haven't used it yet. I assumed that the case was the reason for the higher price here. I can't believe that Amazon would show the case prominently and then not deliver it with the item. Well, I have some time to decide if I will return it and order elsewhere for less, or just keep it.At least they did send the new model instead of the older one, something to be glad for. I have read a number of reviews of this device and am willing to admit that it is not required for carbonating beer; however, if it can get my beer ready in an hour or so rather than three to four days, then I am in favor of that. I've done my share of cranking the CO2 gauge up and then shaking the keg over and over and then waiting, waiting, waiting, until the next day when I do it all again. Heck, by the time I get to that point I've already waited for fermentation to finish and then any maturation that needs to be done. I'm ready to drink some beer, not wait some more. One reviewer who did a video review said he felt using the settings supplied by Blichmann don't seem to get the correct carbonation level, so he recommends going two to four psi higher. I'm not sure I could tell you the carb numbers by tasting a beer...I just know when it has enough fizz for me. I believe that through repeated use this device will get your beers where you want them. And you won't have to wait for a long time.

Opened the box to find the parts and pieces all strewn about. The instructions were obviously handled roughly and no longer stapled together. obviously a previous return Item sold as a new product. Doesn’t look to have been used but doesn’t give me the best confidence in the product.I’m going to be using it on beers that have a lot of work put in them and I hope this device delivers.

This is the best thing ever for carbonating. We even carbonate our own water now.We chill the full keg down, pull it out, hook up the QuickCarb, and in like 40 min, we are all carbonated and ready to go.Finally we have control of our carbonation levels.

Manual carbonation would be 2 days. Now, using this system, carbonation of beer and water is down to an hour and a half!! Best buy!
