The actual album in good new condition! Despite the questionable jacket title.

-The two-hundereth and fiftieth release in Avex Trax's long running "Super Eurobeat" series marks the end of era. Its amazing to think that Avex still continues to release eurobeat music till this day, even though the sales might night be where they once were. Disc 1 has tracks selected by Avex CEO and founder Masato "Max" Matsuura and has MST doing the mixing, with remembrance and acknowledgement of Mitsugu Matsumoto. Disc 2 is selected and mixed by the powerhouse himself - DJ BOSS (Y&Co. Ltd.) and Disc 3 is mixed by DJ SHU (B4 Za Beat) who has not appeared on super eurobeat since Vol. 170. The mixing is excellent on all discs and many classic songs which have not appeared on the series for a long time get a chance to shine again. My only gripe is that there should have been a DVD instead of a lame J-euro CD. Avex for some reason continues to use its own artists instead of J-Euro mainstays (Nagisa Shihori, Haruka, etc.) and many of them are not eurobeat to begin with so why bother trying to make them sound like it. The release is just a nostalgic cash grab and is not the final album as most people are led to believe. If you want a good anniversary release, just look at the back cataloge (vol. 110, 150, 170-210) you'll pretty much get the same songs, a DVD with some and save money while your at it.

First: I love this collection. The tracks are great, and they transition seamlessly.HOWEVER; The included tracks are NOT the full versions of the songs. This is a megamix, so all the tracks are shortened (shortened in a good way in this case) to blend together rather seamlessly. Perfect for when you're driving, working out, dancing or whatever and you don't want lots of empty musical space
