Brilliant idea for a wireless car charger
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I've currently got a wireless charger in my car but my phones held on by a magnetic plate, limiting the cases that I can use. My phone has also fallen off a few times because it wasnt on 100%.I saw this holder and decided to give it a go as it seemed more secure. Its great and holds my large phone (galaxy note 8)with ease. The mechanism works as follows..Place your phone in the holderThe weight of the phone pushes the bottom arm downwards. This in turn closes the side arms of the holder, gripping your phone, holding it securely.Once the phone is in the holder the wireless charging is activated and hey presto, your phone gets juice without plugging in any wires into your phone. The holder of course, does need plughing in and the connection is a micro USB one.The holder attaches to your air vent by using a clip although I adapted it slightly so I can use it on an existing plate I have. It works very well and I'm very happy with it. Much more secure than before.

does not have the 12v charger socket adapter with it
Fits the vents in my Fiat very securely, holds the phone in an upright position only as the weight of the phone pulls the side clamps in to grip the phone, which it does very well. It does not come with the 12v charger plug , I picked up a cheap 2.0 amp one from Poundland for a few quid and it charges my iPhone 8+ with no issues. Despite the charger plug being an extra, it is very well made, gives a feeling of confidence that it can hold the phone securely, comes boxed so could be given as a gift, and is half the price of many other wireless charge holders I have looked at.

Fast Charging
I wanted to try one of these air vent fixing wireless chargers to see if it would work on this car as the windscreen sucker version is quite a big device - well it works great in this car where the vents are recessed slightly but not so good in the other where the air vents stick out from the dash and hence the weight of the phone and case eventually makes them drop. The charger itself is fairly slim and minimalist in design, the weight of the phone on the bottom grips pulls the side grips in, then gently lifting the phone up of course takes the pressure off so they widen releasing the phone- a simple and nice solution. The grip well enough to hold the phone but it does need to be placed centrally. The phone grips are also wide enough to take the phone with its case. The grips to the air vent are strong and it takes some pressure to open them up using the push bar on the bottom - this means it stays put. The grip opens quite wide so should work with even the thickest air vents. It comes with a rubber thingy which you can place being the holder and wrap the corners over your phone when you put it in to stop it rattling. I think I understand what they are getting at but this then makes taking the phone out more than a simple pull which rather defeats the purpose of a wireless charger - to provide a quick release. For me the phone didn't rattle about but then the phone case made the fit fairly snug so that's gone in the bin.

Best car phone mount you can buy!
Really useful car phone mount and charger. Holds the phone steady wherever you place it with options to window or dashboard mount. The side arms move onwards when the bottom arm is pushed down by your phones weight, really clever feature. My iPhone 11 feels really sturdy held in place. Comes with a stretchy rubber rectangle which can grip the corners of your phone if you wanted as well. The range of reach is great, would be suitable for any car or even on your desk. The seal is so strong I’ve had it at full length horizontal holding my phone and it was rock solid. Really impressed!Really useful having the wireless charging feature as well, saves having cables getting in the way and the distraction of the phone cable falling out mid journey. Just pop it on and forget about it. Bargain

Smart little device.
Excellent product, comes with the usb wire to connect it to your USB port. if you don't have a usb port in your car then you need to use a power adapter which is what I have, it plugs straight into that. Comes in two parts. The phone holder and the clip part. Attach them together then squeeze open the clip and attach to your air vent. Then position the holder at the angle you want and tighten up the plastic screw at the back. I have a samsung s9 which fits fine into it. You just pop the phone in the cradle and it grips around it, the phone is then secured place - There is no way it will come out. My phone is in a robust soild thick case ( due to my ability of being able to drop and smash every phone i have ever had 🤦♀️) and it connects wirelessly no problem. When it connects on my phone a circle briefly comes up with the percentgae my phone is at and the red charging light comes on. Only negative is - depending on your power adapter depends on how fast it charges. (you're less than a £10 to purchase a fast charging one.) Really please with this purchase it has made my life much easier. esp now i have setup the google voice commands on my phone. lol
