Easy setup, simple listening to thousands global stations with one-button touch.
I already own a Sangean WFR-28 and that is what I compare with. I need one in my office. The music stations are pre-organized under Global Top 20, Genre ( A - Z), Country/Location (Africa - South America), Highlight 20 (nice and reliable global stations). Navigation is simpler and streamlined. I found it is easier and less confusing to select music than the Sangean. I can set my favorites, or one-button touch to presets. Simple navigation to stations by location and genre. The sound volume ranges from very loud to very minimal. FM radio music is crisp without even extent the antenna. No Bluetooth streaming, USB nor TF-card music playing. It does not have a battery option so is not mobile, but good for sitting in the office. Functions are basic but with thousands of stations to choose from, that's way more than what I asked for. I can simply turn on the radio and enjoy the music I always liked, no need to set up the cellphone and Bluetooth speakers. Highly recommended.

Terrestrial radio lovers rejoice
Overall setup was OK. Navigating with the buttons wasn’t as intuitive as I’d like, but after setup, finding my favorite local radio stations was simple.I’m an AM talk listener and was delighted to find my local iheartradio channels in all programming formats. As a terrestrial radio lover, I can say I am satisfied with the product.

Where's the WiFi??????!! (In my new home.)
This is the only device in our household that will not connect to WiFi. I have tried a thousand times, it seems, and it will not connect. I would love to keep the radio----if it would connect . The sound on FM is wonderful and it is cute. Yet, we must divorce unless someone can inform me of a way to get this baby to connect. Well, I eventually moved to a new home with a different internet provider, and --while unpacking--- I decided to give the Ocean Digital a new ride. Voila!!!!!!! Connected like a charm , sounds great, happy am I. I really do like Ocean Digital products, the quality and sound. Delayed gratification is a learning curve for me. Fine radio with nice sound.

Complex Setup and User Manual Readability
I really like the radio but setting it up was a bit confusing. I'm unable to get into settings with the remote. I have to unplug power and then re-plug the power cord to get into Welcome Screen and settings. My favorite stations go into position 6 and higher and could not find a way to move them into positions 1-5. Was unable to discover a local station (WSMR FM 89.1) here in Sarasota Florida that I get to on my desktop computer and iPhone with the App Simple Radio. The user manual is not that clear and a bit confusing. Did not explore Manage my mediaU feature which offered features that I don't need.Another thing that happened was displayed time changing to military time (5PM = 1700) but I was able to fix that by going back into settings. Another confusing thing is you can specify sleep time in settings but it does nothing because you have to set it with the little zzz button on the remote when you power the radio on with the remote. Overall I'm satisfied with the product for my needs because I'm only interested in listening to a few classical music stations for maybe 1 hour each day with the sleep timer when I go to bed. The radio has way to many features that I will never use.Once you get the radio setup it works well. Sound quality is great.

Mystery WiFi Radio Should Be Good
Ordered this model Ocean Radio and it came with no sound, that's a problem. Returned the unit and requested a replacement. The replacement showed up, I plugged it in pushed the on button, the display lot up then promptly went out and that was the end of that, dead, nothing. This has to be a limited bad run off the production line as I do not see this problem show up in the reviews. Should be a nice radio, it even has a FM radio built in. Ordered another version of the Ocean Radio, fingers crossed. Food for thought, I have a C. Crain CC WiFi radio, very good quality about $130.00 and no complaints.

A nice unit but with serious limitations
OK, what I liked: Build quality and sound quality are both good. Connects quickly to a vast variety of stations. Why I gave it two stars: The remote is essentially worthless. It does nothing if it is more than five feet away from the unit. If I had to tune or adjust the volume from that far away, I would simply step closer and turn the knob. (This is with new and tested batteries in the remote.) This is my main complaint. Every other remote we own will work from across the room.A second lesser complaint is the user interface. You will be proud of yourself after you master the left-right buttons and the knob turning and pushing that is required to navigate the menu structure.Bottom line: it works fine, but the day-to-day usage is not so pleasant.

App only works on shared network
What it does do: connects via the Internet to online and terrestrial radio stations. What it doesn't do: It does not allow you to control the radio via the Internet. The app only works when the user and the radio are on the same local network.

Item is a decent internet radio and a good value
The sound quality is decent at low volume and the features are accurately depicted. It's not ideal for a bedside alarm clock because it's hard to find the on/off buttons in the dark but it allows you to set the alarm for weekdays only so this isn't a big deal. Setting it up was a minor nuisance because the entering the wifi password requires a lot of button pushing, but once it's configured, it seems to work reliably. The display brightness is adjustable on this model which is nice.
