Too gimmicky and not always on point
Yet another rah! rah! rah! leadership book full of gimmicks. I don't fully agree with the author on all his points. For example, his theory that consistency and success breed innovation. I've had to read several leadership books over the last few years and this falls at the bottom of the pack for sure.

Motion Leadership
The book has a lot of great examples of the implementation of change. It's a great supplement to a text for doctoral students and/or masters level students in education leadership. It doesn't have a lot of meat, nor should it. An article of 20 pages may have covered the same thing. The book is an easy and friendly read for graduate level students in educational leadership programs and/or for practitioners.

Get moving with Change: Motion
Michael Fullan has done it again. This time in a short, concise format with the book Motion. In a short book he has capsulized much of his current work and referenced it. This is a handy how-to-guide as well as a reminder of the process of change. A great resource and reference book.

Powerfully Skinny
Not since Doug Reeves got us writing power standards has a book on educational leadership motivated me with such simple and practical insights. I've already passed my copy onto a friend. I'm anxious to see the revolution begin.
