I'm extremely impressed by this toy, the quality is fantastic and most importantly the functionality/engagement is fantastic.My daughter is 5 years old and plays regularly plays with construction toys like Lego and building blocks. When she saw this set she was immediately drawn to it. The colours are very bight and the plastic feels pleasant in the hand, so when she picks it up she feels engaged. The magnets are extremely strong and made to good tolerances - so they rotate quickly and freely and snap into place with a satisfying click and reassuring solidity.I think the magnets are "rare earth" ones, i.e. very strong. You can see my photos that a single connection can easily hold many pieces below it. This means that a model won't fall apart when it it part constructed. Excellent quality.The carry case is a nice extra, ideal for taking the kit out and about or on trips. Overall I strongly recommend this set and we're very happy with it. The only possible improvement would be to have more pieces. But that applies to almost all construction toys - you always want more if its good ;)The manufacturer invited me to review this set, these are my honest opinions.

I bought these as a birthday present for my 5 year old, as he enjoyed playing with similar, but larger, magnets at nursery. They were a massive hit. He absolutely loved them, as did his older brothers and younger sister. The carry bag is the perfect size for storing them in, and makes it easy to take them out with us when he needs so.watching to keep him occupied. It comes with a leaflet with quite a few different building ideas to get you started, then you can make lots of different things. They get played with most days by at least one of the kids. Brilliant for creative building.

I ordered this despite it says it's for 3+ and my daughter is 2 years old. She loves it and it keeps her busy for ages. Would recommend it

My nearly 3 year old and 4 year old girls love this (and me too) really strong magnets too so they hold together really well! 100% recommend! I’m definitely going to add to this so we can make bigger things too!

Really great toy!!! Bought for my 1 and half year old twins. Keeps them occupied for hours. Very good quality, would definitely recommend it!!!

For our grandson's birthday, he loves magnets so fingers crossed We like it and the quality seems good in a nice zipped case, beware giving to very small children as the sides contain small magnets and should the pieces get damaged or broken they could be ingested.

Bought these last year to take on holiday. We had grandchildren with us ranging in age from 10 to 2 (boys & girl) and they all loved them and had hours of fun. Thinking of buying a second pack to take this year as they went down so well last year and all wanted to play at the same time! Highly recommend them.

I ordered this after seeing the amazing reviews online for my 3 and a bit year old daughter and I'm so pleased with it. The moment she opened it she has been enthralled and finds some time to play with it almost every day. At times she wants to make things on her own and at times she wants us to help her with it. And she really likes the case. I'm hoping that in time she will play this with her brother who is only 9 months old at the moment. Its definitely worth buying this folks!
