I have installed several kick-down door stoppers in the past. When I saw how this was SUPPOSED to work, I was skeptical that the stopper would return to the up position easily. Amazing! I have now installed three of them on schoolroom doors. Brilliant idea. Where was this great stopper decades ago?

This product is nicer and working better than expected for the price. I'm using two in a commercial environment and they are working great. One caveat is that we had to through bolt them to the door, but again we're using them in a restaurant and the doors are slamming for 12hrs during a shift.

It was easy to install and I would buy it again.
