CB Sports Boys' Mesh Athletic Short

OMG, they FIT! Parents of skinny-waisted boys, rejoice! My son usually wears a size 6, but most elastic waist band shorts fall off of him. At Old Navy/Gap, the waistband of the XS (4/5) fits, but the shorts are way too short. If we go up to the Small (6/7), they fall off him. So I roll them at the waist which is bulky and then makes the shorts too short.I began my quest to find a pull up short that fits his waist and is long enough. These shorts fit the bill! They are comfortably snug and hit him at the knee. We bought the Little Boys 5/6 and they are exactly what I was looking for. And BONUS - my son LOVES them. He thinks they are "cool" and insisted I find him a "cool" shirt to go with them. He then proceeded to TUCK said "cool" shirt into his new cool shorts, thereby destroying any semblance of cool his outfit might have had, but hey, I'm all for letting him express himself.Bottom line: these are great for boys who normally wear about a size 6 and are on the skinny side and have had no luck finding pull on shorts that actually, you know, stay ON.

The shorts are long and skinny. They do look nice, but be aware that they do NOT have pockets as the description says.

I had one criteria for shorts for my 14 year old - POCKETS! The description says these have pockets, so bought a few pair, and there are none and they are therefore useless. Going back and time wasted! Otherwise these are good solid shorts, much more substantial than the ultra cheap thin UnderArmour shorts I also bought.

A little long. I bought size 4T for my 3 year old toddler as he's a bit thick in the waist and the length hit just below his knees. He's tall for his age too. However I got it hemmed by about an inch and it looks perfect now. The fabric is very durable, stylish and matches most t-shirts so a really great buy.

Love these shorts. They are SOOOO long. My boys have other brands of shorts (Children's Place) that measure 19 inches long and have an 8 inch inseam. These shorts are 22 inches long and have a 10 1/2 inch inseam. Great price too!!!

I ordered the size 10/12 for my 8 year old and they are long. He normally wears a 10/12, so these definitely fit longer than expected. However, he is really tall for his age, so they work. He just rolled them up at the waste band once and can wear them until he grows into them.

Great quality shorts for the price. But they do run large so size down for slim kids. I purchased two pairs, size 5/6 and 7/8 for my 5 and 7 yro and the 5/6 fits my 7 year old perfectly the other pair was huge.

My son is 14 years old, 5'6" and slim (85 pounds). The shorts fits perfectly at the waist and the length is just as he prefers them, long (at or just above the knees). I bought two more after having him try this one on, but I wish they carried more 14/16 sizes in stock as I would have bought a whole week's worth of shorts.
