The cover is soft and fluffy and the size is just right. It's a bit heavier than expected. My "sturdy" 11 yo boy thinks it's too heavy and doesn't use it all the time. Perhaps a bit less weight would have been right on.

I bought a small navy one for my son and he loves it. So easy to clean and so soft. My older daughter wanted one so I got her one for Christmas. I was really disappointed the purple color is no where near what the picture looks like. I was expecting a more neon bright type purple and it is a deep wine colored purple. Also, even though hers is heavier it feels lighter because it’s a smidge bigger so the weight is dispersed. Didn’t think of that so I wish I had gotten an even heavier one for her. It really doesn’t feel that heavy. Overall they are great blankets though! Think I may grab a white one for myself one day. Zipper cover is so nice for washing!

Great quality blanket. It is pretty small and more like a lap blanket. There were no strange smells and the material was very soft

I have actually hijacked my granddaughter’s blanket I got her for Christmas! She loved it but she runs really hot at night, I do too but this blanket does not make me sweat which is surprising!! I recommend this blanket for sure& I love the pattern on it it’s super soothing to the touch.

I wasn't sure if my 10 yo little girl would really benefit from this or not. She goes to sleep pretty easily each night and usually sleeps a good solid 10 hours. But she has signs of anxiety and sensory seeking so I wanted to see if this could help at all with that. To get her settled in at night we go through a night time routine of prayers and snuggles. I'll lay down with her for a few minutes to just calm her down a bit. She usually has to hold my hand during this time or roll on me or put her feet in between my legs or somehow be toughing me. Even as a baby she needed my hand to be touching her so she would go to sleep and stay asleep. We started using this blanket about a month ago and she really loves it. She weighs 88 lbs and I went with the 10lb. She has said it's a little heavy but she also likes it. I didn't want it to be too restrictive for her. I have noticed when I lay down with her she doesn't feel like she has to hold my hand or roll on top of me o put her feet on me. She just lays there and talks to me. I can't tell if it helps her sleep longer. Like I said, she usually sleeps a good 10 hours no problem and the nights we've been trying it are during her school's winter break so our schedule/routine has been greatly altered and she has been getting to bed two hours late so sleeps in longer. I can't tell if it's the blanket that helps her sleep longer or if it's because we were out late looking at Christmas lights or if it's a bit of both: she's tired and the blanket helps. Typically though, whatever time she went to bed, she still woke up at 6, no later than 7 and these last couple morning she's been sleeping in till 8 or a little past 8a. So I think the blanket really helps her sleep longer. It's really been helpful at our house. I'm glad I invested in one for her. It's comparible to getting black out curtains. You dont realize how wonderful they are until you get some!!

*** Update: My second daughter loved her sister's weighted blanket so much we bought another one. The kids sleep soundly with these. Very soft and comfortable. Washing isn't difficult, but takes some thought and effort to do it correctly to get everything back in place. My second daughter does not have sleep issues but loves this for the warmth.We gave this to our 6 year old daughter who has anxiety issues and wakes up at least 1-2 times a night. When she opened this on her birthday she loved the bright pink color and the soft minky feel. Once she covered up with the blanket she immediately relaxed (even after a long night of presents and cake) and nearly fell asleep in her chair. She slept through the night that night and the following couple nights. Now about a week later, she still sleeps better with this weighted blanket than without it but she will wake up if it slides off in the night from turning.The minky is really soft and the 5 pound weight seems just right for her (about 40 pounds). It is heavy for her to carry down the hall but adults will have no problem moving it. I haven't washed it yet and am a bit nervous about that since the instructions are very explicit but overall we are really happy with her "heavy blanket." This product was recommended to us from a friend who is an occupational therapist. So glad we splurged on this blanket!

My 6 year old daughter likes the blanket except for the fact that it’s not very wide. She loves the feel and it helps her relax at night so she can get a restful night sleep. So far it’s been great and the quality is very good.

It’s soft.. 2 stars for that. But it’s so short, it isn’t really a full coverage blanket. My daughter hates it, tried giving it to my son because he has ASD too, he hated it, and me and my husband tried it, but it was sooooo short. It just sits folded in a corner. Waste of almost $200. It’s too bad because we had such high hopes. :( We though it could help calm meltdowns and also, my daughter has night terrors but she will not let it near her.

Vraiment extraordinaire pour favoriser l`endormissement et calmer. Cependant pas l`idéal pour une personne qui change souvent de positions dans son sommeil car la pesanteur de la couverture rend la mobilité plus difficile en plus si on doit tourner notre oreiller de corps lors du changement de position
