Love, love, love this garlic mincer. I can put several cloves on a cutting board and just roll right over them for the perfect consistency. I have problems with my wrist, so putting garlic in a traditional mincer can be painful, but this way is pretty effortless. It also cleans up real well and packs away easily in my utensil drawer. Getting them for my sisters for Christmas!

I loved the garlic press itself. Easy to use n works great. No more chopping for me, I found my new tool. The garlic peeler works just ok. It wasn’t packaged well enough so it not round? Its flattened so you can’t roll the garlic on a flat surface. Great idea but the quality on that particular item is poor. I can put it inbetween my hands to help but it’s just more work than it should be. The tool is worth it though. Ps I store the peeler thing over at airborne tube to try to make it stay round but is soon as I take it off to use it, it flattens out. The quality of the material just isn’t there.

I grew tired on mincing garlic cloves one or two at a time. Hence this purchase. It does as stated. Using the rubber roller tube makes all the difference. Use it! This tool takes a lot of muscle, both to roll the paper off the cloves and especially to mince with the rocker. Comfortable handle and works well but you have to push down hard and rock back and forth and change directions. I suggest putting the cutting board on a slightly lower surface if you are shorter to get a better (more high up) angle of approach. To clean, I scrape rocker with the back of my knife, on the back of the rocker surface

I would love to make my comments relevant to this product, but unfortunately, both gift boxes were missing both the garlic press and the silicone tubes. I contacted this seller but told to call Amazon customer service. I did so and explained to them that both gift boxes (clearly printed on outside of box - Garlic Gift Set) were not secured with tape but relied on a flap secured by a magnetic closure, which easily allowed for theft, thus had missing items. They were apologetic and said they would replace them, which they did. I asked that they make a reference to this poor packaging and either tape shut or put it in another box. Unfortunately, one of the replacements had the same issue. Except this time, all contents were missing! The other replacement had one piece of scotch tape which was enough of a deterrent to keep in intact. It was embarrassing to have to make that second call but necessary to finally get the second gift item. Unfortunately, they could not replace the whole missing box and I had to get a refund and reorder it. I sure hope they get this box/shipping issues resolved as I feel I can't possibly be the only person this has happened to. I did not reorder the second gift set as I wanted to use the product and be able to give it a thums-up if it was a good product. I have had only one opportunity to use it and can make this one assessment that it is more difficult to use if you are working with cloves that are slightly soft and not really fresh. You have to rock over it several times and maybe even slice it to a thinner size to get all the pulp squeezed. My other SS hand press made by Farberware allows for more pressure and will press more garlic out with these softer cloves. I feel sure that the cloves that are fresh and harder will work much better. That being said, I still like this product and will continue to use it. It is very well made and cleans easily. I'm not sure how much I will use the extra tools that came with it but I will give them a try.

I've had a number of tools that promised an easy way to chop or crush garlic cloves. Lately I just did the mincing with a good knife. However, I am so glad I tried one more tool and this is one I'd recommend without hesitation! The little sleeve is nice although the real gem is the easy to use tool. It's comfortable in your hand, cleans up nicely and I even put it in the dishwasher. May be getting a couple for future presents!

A total waste of time... honestly we have a traditional garlic press (I don't like it because it requires some strength in the hands to squeeze it).. so I wanted something where leverage rather than strength mattered more (and save my hands).. this is just more risk to slipping and doesn't actually do the job well..With a Traditional garlic press, time spent on spent on peeling and pressing 20 cloves of garlic: 10 minutes (add 3 for post cleaning)With this thing, time spent on spent on peeling and pressing 20 cloves of garlic: 20 minutes (including retries, and then post chopping) (add 4 for post cleaning)In short, while its a good idea, it's a bad execution.

My old garlic press was so difficult to clean, messy and the garlic kept getting stuck in the holder. I threw it out.This garlic press comes with a garlic skin remover, and that is a real plus. The arc shape, is comfortable to use with the handle design. I first removed the garlic skin, and then placed the garlic on a board. Using a back and forth rocking motion, I first crushed the garlic, then minced it. You could also use this for ginger, which would be much easier than my current method.The garlic collects on the surface of the press , so it is very easy to clean with soap and water. This is made from stainless steel, so, no worries. It fits perfectly in my kitchen drawer. Love it!Recommended. prisrob 06-05-19

It's well made, but not easy to use, and cleaning it is a pain.
