Circulon Elite Nylon Skimmer Spoon with Coated Handle - Black

A relatively long and large serving and draining spoon with its slots arranged across the bowl rather than (as most often) along it. The narrow slots have the advantage of reducing loss of smaller elements of food that another slotted spoon will allow through its rather wide slots. This is from the Circulon range, from which several items of cookware are owned, well-made and long-lasting, although moderately heavy which are characteristics this reflects.A thick steel rib extends from the spoon bowl to the handle such that resting it on the side of a pan is less likely to burn or melt the handle than may otherwise occur (several past examples were discarded for that reason).Pricewise, it is within the same ball-park as others among which this is the current favourite.

I’m pleased with my purchase. You can never be sure when buying online how flimsy something will be but this is sturdy to use, no bending in the spoon or the shaft of it. The handle is also nice to hold. A good buy

Usual high quality product. It seems a little on the small side but you soon get used to it.

soft grip. firm too!...nice and solid feel...doesn't feel as though it will melt after one use (yes, really, i've had that happen lol) and definitely worth the price.if you like long-lasting tools that will be with you for years, then you won't go far wrong with this make...i don't need to be picky...i simply cannot fault this item.:)

I bought Circulon Elite Palette Knife to overcome a problem with a traditional metal Palette Knife - when I try to extract my cakes from a round tin - the metal palette knife would mark the Teflon non-stick coating.This Circulon Elite Palette Knife is a gadget I only use on very few occasions but has relieved me of the fear my favorate Teflon coatings will be removed.I would not rate it as industrial standard - more for home use.I do wish they were available in white as my kitchen is white and it does look a bit out of place. Minor irritation.

Bought this to go with the new Circulon pans ordered. I know you can get plastic spatula's cheaper, but thought we would get a good quality one as the pans were not cheap ones. I am very pleased with this, it is slightly curved on the front edge so it can get things out of the frying pans easily as it goes right up to the edges, normal flat ones don't do this and make this action far more difficult.It looks very smart too and would look great hung up on a rack of similar tools. Not bought any other tools yet, but might just invest are they are very solid and good quality.UPDATE: Not so pleased with it now as the edge has worn down, and bits of plastic have come off, making it virtually impossible to pick up a fried egg out of pan now, as the edge has become too thick. I am fed up chasing the egg round the pan so have gone back to my cheaper ASDA one which still works fine for me!

I bought one of these in April 2011 and have been using it without a problem until a couple of weeks ago when the slotted head fell off.I went looking on Amazon for a replacement and happened upon the same one that had just become faulty and noticed that there is a Customer Satisfaction Guarantee with all Circulon products. A quick phone call to them and they asked me to email a picture of the fault (took it using my webcam), which I did. Three days later and I now have a brand new replacement. They said it was a manufacturing error, but I'm happy with the product and with that brilliant customer service guarantee, will continue using their products. I also have their Circulon Elite pans and have never found fault with them either, I think they produce excellent products.Would highly recommend.

I bought this to complement our Circulon Elite Cookware set.Just like the rest of the utensils in the set the flexible turner follows the general design of the pans, however (just like with the rest of the set) the end of the handle is not metal, just metal effect plastic (the mid section is metal). This wouldn't bother me too much if after years of dishwashing the plastic coating wouldn't have started to peel away, revealing the plain white plastic underneath. This makes the item look a bit unsightly and cheap, which is a really a shame, for an otherwise great item.Functionality wise: the turner is great size, does the job very well.All in all - if the looks matter to you, you might be disappointed after a couple of years. If aesthetics don't matter: buy it if the price is right!

bonsoir, alors cette spatule est très pratique, le bout très fin et plat , pas de risque de rayer sa poele et le manche est excellent un bon grip en plus l'utiliser dans une poele ani adhésive , c'est le top !.

I purchase the entire Circulon gadget set over a year ago and I have to say that I'm very happy with these utensils. I don't use this skimmer too much but that doesn't change the fact that it's an amazing product. Made to last. Very strong and the handle is very comfortable. A year after and all these utensils are in great shape. I love them all.

This is a great palette knife. I usually use it when cooking vegetables. This is not an utensil I use every day but I do use it enough. I got this palette knife over a year ago and it's still in great shape. No problems at all. It's made to last and the handle is very comfortable. Excellent product
