Wow, this is the best pillow. It doesn't flatten overnight, even if you sleep on your side and barely move. I can't believe how comfy it is given what it's stuffed with, but it's really comfy. I've had two nights on this pillow and the muscles in my back are so relieved. I ordered two of the two-grain pillows and received one of them buckwheat only. It's nice too, but I do like the millet side . I ordered a replacement, but I'm just going to keep all three. They're really nice pillows and the people in my house love them.

Ok, so I have a BAD neck. Like really bad. Spinal stenosis in C3-C6. Surgery will be inevitable at some point soon. It is very painful in my neck but has caused issues with my shoulder, arm, headaches, etc. I have spent HUNDREDS of dollars on pillows over the last few years, onky to be left unhappy and in pain. So far this pillow has been the best purchase. It forms to my neck. I can shape it exactly how I need it for support. It doesn’t lose its shape. It also is very cooling, as I sleep hot and prefer a cold pillow. I’m grateful for this. The only down side is that the pillow is heavy. It makes traveling with it a pain but I refuse to sleep without it, so I have a large bag I use to take it with me when I travel short distance. So far so good and my neck feels great for once

I've wanted one of these for myself for a long time because I had bought my wife a buckwheat body pillow, which is also awesome, but this pillow really is fantastic. I like the use of both materials because it really gives you a balanced rest. This is a hard, moldable, pillow for those of us who don't move much at night. Not a cheap pillow, but what's the cost of a good night's rest?

I've read that CPAP users may like a buckwheat pillow because you can make a "path" or groove for your mask and tubing. This is the 2nd buckwheat pillow that I've owned and am very please with it. I've been using the king-size version of this pillow for over a year now. I enjoy a very firm pillow and because you can remove (or add) to the buckwheat and millet sides, you can totally customize this pillow to your liking. I actually removed 2 gallon bags of buckwheat to have the right firmness that I like, and plan to make a small buckwheat pillow with the amount I removed. (Bonus!) Sleeping on any buckwheat pillow requires some adjustment over time. The crunchy noise took a bit of time for me to acclimate to but now, I sleep so soundly with this pillow. I also like having the option of the millet side, which is nice and soft and very comfortable. This pillow is definitely a good investment in my sleep. Very happy with this purchase!

I really like this pillow. It is totally adjustable to whatever shape you want or if chose to change its shape, it is simple. This pillow never gets hot and does not make one sweat. With 2 different fillers, it is easy to fine the softness you like most. I bought a king size pillow and it is quite heavy. The heaviness is the only reason i did not give 5 stars. However, the heaviness is due to the type of fillers used, which are natural products, so there is nothing to be done about it. A smaller pillow would, of course, lighter.

I've been sleeping on this pillow for nearly six months now, and it's clear that this is the best pillow I've ever owned. When it first arrived, I wasn't sure how I'd feel. My wife hated the way it smelled, but I kind of liked it. I had to remove a little bit of the filling to make it comfortable for my neck, but that was easy to do. Once I had stored the excess filling in a bag, the pillow was the most comfortable thing I'd slept on. Other reviews are right, it takes some getting used to, but it's nice to not wake up to neck pain like I had been for several months. In the roughly 6 months I've had this pillow, I've had no neck pain as a result of sleeping funny. I have had to add some of the filling back in, but that's to be expected when your heavy head is smushing it down every night. All things considered, I would absolutely buy this again. It's changed bedtime for me.

The first thing I noticed about this pillow is the case is paper thin and really cheap feeling, which was kinda shocking to me considering the price point. The first night I slept with the pillow it was way too firm. I seemed to prefer the millet side to the buckwheat, so the following day I thought I might empty the buckwheat side and add shredded memory foam. However, even though this case has two chambers in it, you have to open one zippered compartment to then access the zipper to the other side, so you can not open each chamber individually, so changing out the "inner" chamber without emptying both is an exercise in futility.I decided to try the pillow again for a second night, and now I'm at work, stiff as a board, barely able to move my neck. Just a truly awful experience. It's like sleeping on a sandbag.

I love that this pillow has two pockets for the soft side (millet) and the harder side (buckwheat).It took a little bit to get used to it but I love it for both sleeping on my back and for sleeping on my side. It helped to eliminate most of my neck stiffness in the morning when I wake up in the morning.The only thing I wish was different was a larger size as it would be a bit easier to use if it was slightly bigger. Also, I can't find a pillow protector in this size. I was able to find a pillowcase from the same company but it is $36 which seems like a lot for such a small pillow.If you want to move to something better than Coop's shredded foam pillows this is a good option.
