Does it work for extractions?

It should be used as a torch fluid, not as a way to extract [flower] material because it can explod

Is there a butane stove that work with these taller cans? I just bought a stove and these are too long to fit so buyer beware.

NO ! These Lotus containers are for refills only. Used primarily for refilling Butaine lighters. I use for refilling my expensive cigar lighters as the Butaine is filtered and free of contaminates.

Can they be used in a kitchen torch?

If you asking about the type of torch that attached directly to a can of butane, then probably not. These cans have long stems, great for filling any lighter. Those torches that attach directly to a can require short stems. On the other hand, some kitchen torches do have their own fuel tank which you refill from a can, and this can is perfect for those. Search for item number B0038PE3VQ on amazon for an example of the other type of butane fuel can. Note that I have no personal experiences with this butane product so this is not a recommendation. I only butane for my lighters and do not own a kitchen torch.
