I am so HAPPY to have finally found a great condition DVD YOUNGBLOOD!

Movie is great. You have to use a non-blue ray dvd.

Loved this movie from the first time I saw it. Not many good hockey films out there but this is a good one with a great cast, good storyline, good music and some fighting which makes it a good hockey film.

Whether you're a hockey fan or not, this one is entertaining and with a watch.

Classic 80's hockey movie!

As most of you already know, this movie is impossible to find on any streaming services. It’s not even available to rent or buy anywhere that I have looked. Not sure why this is, because this is a great movie with two 80s titans, Patrick Swayze and Rob Lowe. It’s also a sports movie with a great 80s soundtrack that brings back the nostalgia. It just doesn’t get any better than this. The characters and the plot is simple and straight forward. It’s not artsy, full of weird filters, or complex/underlying narratives. It’s just plain fun. Sure there are better movies out there, but if you want something that’s just plain easy to watch and doesn’t require hours of invested time(tv shows), then pick up this movie, you won’t regret it.

Just a hockey classic. So much nostalgia in this. Takes me back.... i still smell it.....the popcorn, stale flat beer, the urinal stench of old plumbing in crumbling arenas......ahhhh minor league hockey. A ton of great memories of going to games. I love watching these movies. Buy it! You will be right back there in a blink of an eye.......remember dodging pucks at warm ups before the days of the netting hanging down. Good times!I will say it and with no regret this is Pat Swayze's BEST movie. ........Don't argue with mean....You feel it in your bones.....just say it. Swayze...Swayze....Swayze.....

17-year-old Dean Youngblood (Rob Lowe) joins the Hamilton Mustangs ice hockey team despite protestations from his father, Blane. His older brother, Kelly, lost an eye playing junior hockey, and his father wants Dean to stay at home and work on the farm. Despite Blane's overprotectiveness, Kelly persuades him to let Dean travel to Canada and try out for The Mustangs.During the try-outs, Coach Murray Chadwick (Ed Lauter) realizes that, although small, Youngblood has speed and an impressive number of goals scored during the previous season. He picks Youngblood over Racki, which infuriates the latter, a huge bear of a man.
