Similar to coffee but even better !!
Excellent coffe substitute! I always thought it would be imposible to have a good substitution for coffee . Even though it was sometimes so heavy for my stomach and my nerves I couldn't stop drinking it. Now this fantastic option not only tastes very similar to a good american coffee but it's wonderful for my stomach and my nerves. It's taste is always the same. With coffee you never now. Sometimes good sometimes two strong two weak depending in such a big varieties of brands preparations etc.The ayurvedic roast is very consistent . I like it a little strong .After trying different ways to do it I found that in the traditional way with paper filter is the best . Just add a little bit of milk and just delicious to have with me all morning to enjoy it sip by sip...Update: The design of the Hario coffee dripper (made in japan) is great !! it has a big hole in the bottom so it allows a faster extraction, but just the time needed for an excellent taste, not too strong not too light

Solution for Weak Flavor
I have engineered this caffein-free roast to my liking. I first tried 3 teaspoons of Ayurvedic Roast in 8 oz water, and was disappointed by the weak flavor. I also felt it was too expensive following their formula. I have no problem drinking decaffeinated coffee. So, I began mixing one tbsp of the roast with two tbsp of the strongest-flavored decaf I could find. Based on research, the strongest brand is Eight O'Clock. Look for the green label. You won't be disappointed.
