Very nice material. Comfortable and nicer then I thought it would be. Very light weight and not tight like the spanx. Even the lace is soft and not scratchy. If you are looking for shape wear, this is not it. I love them so my legs don't rub together in the heat of summer. Perfect for under dresses and skirts!! I am very happy with them.

I recently started liking dresses, but I am fluffy and it drives me crazy to have my chubby thunder thighs rub in this Texas heat. I have tried several undergarment shorts like Spanx etc but they are either so tight that my muffin top spills over or hot and unbreathable. I love these shorts! Very soft modal that feels like a super soft cotton t-shirt. It breathes well. I bought a size up because I wanted my legs not to rub but didn't want a Spanx fit. They are loose but just right for comfort. These aren't for holding anything in but more to just avoid your legs rubbing. I want every color now. Thank goodness I can now avoid the dreaded skin touching. I was afraid the lace would itch but it doesn't. I am also super short at 5'1”. I was afraid they would be below my knees due to other reviews but they are a couple of inches above my knees. Dresses are all below my knees due to my height. They are easy to fold or scrunch up if you really need to.Update 8/3/18: These are still amazing and have held up to very regular wear. Still as soft and comfy as day one and I am back to get more colors. I wouldn’t wear dresses otherwise due to sweaty skin touching.Update 8/6/19: These hold up so well and I still wear the first pair I bought regularly. Just bought five more colors on the lightning deal for $6.99. I just came to check if they had any more colors and happened to come across the lightning deal. I feel like I won the lottery! They are perfect under dresses and would be nice with a nightgown at night as well if you don’t like your legs touching at night like me.

These are a God send for the woman without a thigh gap! Very flexible waist band so it doesn't cut in but secure enough to stay out throughout the day. Perfect length to go under all my skirts and dresses. I purchased black, I will be purchasing other colors as well

I am a plus woman who wears a 22. I wear a lot of skirts /dresses and usually just wear sport leggings underneath for a smooth look and not have underwear lumps, lol. I got these for shorter skirts. Because of the bottom cuff, they don't roll up, which I LOVE. They are NOT too tight at all. The only reason I didn't give a five star, is although the waist fits, there seems to be so much fabric that as I sit at my desk throughout the day, the waist sits under the boobs, lol.... I am a larger woman in the thighs, but do have an hourglass shape, so if you have a bigger belly, these would probably be PERFECT, for an hourglass, it's an easy fix w/ a sewing machine.

I purchased these because I love Undersummers, but these do the same job and are 1/3rd of the price. Because they were Prime eligible and had free returns, I figured why not try these $12 shorts rather than the Undersummers $30-something version.I'm so glad I did! They definitely are a lower quality than my Undersummers, but these get the job done just fine at a much friendlier price.

These are amazing. Just what I was looking for. A comfortable short undergarment to wear under dresses and prevent thigh rub. They are NOT a compression garment. I don't want to be squeezed to bits - I just want to have a comfortable smooth undergarment to keep my legs from chafing. they are soft, comfortable, and perfect!

I bought these to wear under skits and dresses in the summer to prevent my legs sticking together. I knew modal is a soft, delicate material, but these were still not what I expected. The waistband was tighter and the actual shorts looser than expected, so these created a weird bulge under my navel. The length was nice, and I like the lace. The fabric weight would be nice in summer (not too heavy or thick), but I would like something with more structure that didn't create more lumps and bumps.

I bought 10 pairs of these because they were so comfortable. They were like super lightweight and pretty biker shorts, perfect for preventing chub rub. But after about 4 wears, every single pair had split at the seams, leaving big gaping holes in the areas that they were supposed to cover. I am so disappointed, because as far as I know, there is really nothing else like them available in my size. And before you start saying I bought them too small, please take into consideration that they fit comfortably AND that they were my size AND that when I do wear regular pants, which are constructed the same way, they do not split at the seams.
