Chippewa Original Collection Men's 6-Inch Service Utility Boot

A great pair of boots! The leather is more of a golden brown than is shown in the picture, but not a problem for me. I used a little dubbin to darken the leather slightly. Sizing, as with many boot makers is slightly on the large side. I wear a UK size 10 in a shoe, but ordered down a half size to a UK SIZE 9.5 and they are a perfect fit. I wore the boots around the house for a couple of days to break them in, but I could probably have worn them straight out of the box with no real concern.I have put an insole into the boots for a little more comfort as they are a little hard on the feet when walking.I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these boots. I bought the crazy horse leather which is less smart than the other leathers and will look aged more quickly, but that is what I wanted.

I've been wanting a pair of chippewas for years but sort of followed trends and bought Redwings instead. Let me tell you these Chips win hands down. They arelike bombproof slippers. Hardly any break in and fit like a glove.
