I had the top two shelves in place already and bought another set to display books in my toddler’s room. I will say that they’re great for books specifically, as the lip seems to be higher than other similar shelves. They were easy to install and seem sturdy enough to stand up to normal, everyday wear and tear- even in a child’s bedroom or reading area. However, my son is a terror and at 13 months (after one week of having these up), he has snapped one of the shelves by grabbing too many books, probably way too enthusiastically. My husband is now in the process of installing L-brackets for extra support, so we’ll see how that goes.If you’re also looking for a way to display your kids books and they are not wild little monsters these would probably be great. Otherwise, maybe go with something a little more sturdy (I wish I would have).

I absolutely adore these shelves. I got this length and two of the longer ones as well. I understand the other reviewers being a bit down on the quality, though. The attachments aren’t completely flush or tight out of the package. I had to actually tighten the screws myself before instal so the pieces wouldn’t separate. I wouldn’t put anything too heavy on here, but they do sit pretty flush to the wall. The gold leaf will absolutely flake if you don’t care for the shelves or you drop them, so don’t do that. Otherwise, they are gorgeous, perform well after tightening, and seem like they will hold up as long as I don’t put anything too heavy on them. I used my own mounting hardware and drywall crews to mount them and I’m so happy with how they turned out!

I liked the finish. It has a few imperfections, but the finish has a texture so it didn't show marred. I like the shade of gold. Not brassy or too yellow.

I bought these for our nursery and I’m absolutely in love with them, they were so easy to hang and the quality is great!

Product arrived opened them up and they were beautiful!!! I did not measure the area I was expecting to use them however I found a home for them. I also like them so much plan on purchasing another set in the near future

Amazing! Exactly what i was looking for to display some of my kpop albums, fits a good amount. Extremely easy to install and shelves don’t feel cheap, I have about 10 of these already! Highly recommend :)

Unfortunately these shelves are not a very nice finish as you can zoom in on the pictures and see. I was willing to put up with that as I really needed these shelves to complete my look, but when I went to hang them up with command strips the bottom half of the shelf is very loose and doesn't hold much weight. They would only work for me if I repainted them and reinforced the bottoms. For $30 I'm going to find new ones that I won't have to do so much work on.
