Since the product description says that this board supports AT firmware, but with no documentation, that's impossible to verify. Connecting a UART to the serial pins didn't get me anywhere.Without firmware or documentation, this is definitely a bit of a hard start, and this is probably not a kit for a first-time user.The other issue is that the board is wide enough that it won't fit on a standard breadboard. In order to breadboard this, I ended up hanging it off of one side of my breadboard. in the future, I'm planning on using a second breadboard and straddling two breadboards to get the pins on both sides.Mostly, my complaint on this specific item is the complete lack of any documentation and known firmware. Adding even a single sheet of paper with an address to a firmware flasher for the NodeMCU binaries or an AT firmware would really help.

Pretty solid dev board. Everything works fine for the most part. One of them now requires holding the boot button to upload a new program. Lettering for the pins is very sloppy and hard to read. Burned on of the boards very easily when removing header pins.

When I placed this order, the quantity was for two packages of three. The descriptions in the shopping cart showed the same thing. I received 6. All have worked flawless for my project.I went back to order more and now, they are quantity 3 for a few pennies less. Disappointing.

Bought several of these boards and they work well. Using the Arduino IDE I have had no problems programming them or having them work. The boards are well silk screened. I have had one of them running as a web server for about 3 weeks continually with no glitches.

These are excellent quality devices and the ESP32 is an amazing microprocessor.

I failed to read all the reviews. These are too wide to put on a breadboard and use all the pins. The NodeMCU are way better.

Received the esp32 module, solder are good, pins comes with foam. I used 2 breadboard to test with esp-idf and sample app under linux, 5 minutes to have a working setup,and it works great with Mac and Windows. All works well. Very good.

I thought that I was a risk to order this because it’s so cheap.Finall I was amazed at how good and affordable it was. The manufacture it's very nice and it works good.
