So far so good. I am able to clamp wood molding in my vise using the soft jaws without marring the wood. The magnets stay in place and hold the jaws to the vice. Plus the price is right. I find these jaws to be a great value. It is too soon to make a durability judgment. At this time, I am pleased with the purchase.

Bought these to use my blacksmithing leg vice on copper and they work great. Love the magnets as the stay in place and I can stick them to the vice stand when not in use.

Work well. I’d prefer just a little more magnetic force. Still... does the job well.

Was bent so right magnet did not make contact. Left jaws closed overnight but problem persisted.1drop of cyanoacrylate seems to solve the issue. Hope I don't have to take it off.

These are fantastic! Great for holding without marketing. I didn’t measure and got the wrong size (too big) but I’m keeping them anyway.

This is more like rubber jaws than plastic. if that is what you are after then maybe this is for you. If you actually want it to grip things and not mush out of the way look else where.

Product worked great on my vice. Perfect for those times I am working on my guns, which is why I bought it. Made well, strong magnets, stays put and doesn’t slip.

I'm sure these are fine for light work but anything medium to heavy work and its a no from me. Removing bushes from car suspension and with the required grip to hold the work piece, the plastic squashes, the grips ride up so the work piece falls from the vice and the magnets shatterNot for me.Got a set of Faithful brand and was instantly reminded what good quality soft jaws are like.Remembering a 6" vice will normally be used for medium to heavy duty work these are just not up to the job.

The product locates well onto my vice, but it's a bit disappointing that it deforms quite a bit when something is clamped into it, and components regularly slip around in it when you put any pressure on?I have a couple of slips of hard-wood that I use on occasion when I want to grip something quite tight, but not damage the component in the steel vice jaws -glad I didn't throw them out!?

I have a vice for metal work & was thinking of getting a woodwork vice but then I saw those Soft Jaw Protectors & said I would give them a try. They are excellent. Now I can do my steel work or pop those on & do woodwork. Very impressed with them. No problem attaching them as they have 3 magnets on each piece & just stick on.

I have tried other brands of soft jaws and been disappointed by magnets that are so weak the jaws fall off with the slightest touch.The magnets on these jaws are a bit stronger and do stay in place with normal use, though still not what I would call strong magnets.Definitely usable but not quite 5*

Had to give this one a five star. Sticks very well to the vise its not too soft for me anyway. I'm using it to hold my chainsaw while I sharpen the chain as I don't want to mar the chain bar. Rock solid! Plus its handy for delicate stuff too. I highly recommend this accessory.
