Using this Bluetooth adapter, the newer Apple devices can connect to the Bose Wave Connect Dock via Bluetooth.

This item is a Bluetooth adapter that is intended to install on customer’s own Bose Wave Connect Dock. The Bose Wave Connect Dock attaches to the Bose Wave system via an audio cable that has one end inserted in the dock and the other end inserted in the Aux/Audio input on the rear of the Bose Wave system. By mounting this Bluetooth adapter on the Connect Dock it is possible to stream wireless Bluetooth audio from any smartphone, iPhone, laptop etc, through to the Bose Wave System.
