Can this remove extremely dried up tape that has been on windows for nearly three years?

Yes you can. I had privacy film on two of my basement windows for at least 10 years that were adhered securely and were cracking and faded from sun over time. I sprayed this a scraped right off with a razor. Literally the best stuff ever.

Removed laminate flooring whic was over vinyl flooring that was in great condition. Used Goo Gone to remove adhesive left from laminate. Just sprayed it on. Wait a few minutes and it all came up. Highly recommend!!!
