Nilight TR-04 Truck Tailgate Bar 60" Triple Row 504 LED Strip with Red Brake White Reverse Sequential Amber Turning Signals Strobe Lights，2 Years Warranty

I was sweating how well this would work. Install was super easy. It was more work to remove the tailgate than it was to install this light bar! With the Double sided tape, it stuck right down, pilot drilled the holes on the ends and used self tappers to secure it. I was worried that the amber sequential turn signals would also light up with the brake light but they work great. Super bright brake light and turn signals that really stand out! I didn't wire in the white reverse lights because I'll never need that feature.

Purchased a tape type but wasn’t impressed so I purchased this aluminum frame type. Came in sturdy box and it was a much better product. Used it on my 01 F-150. Pealed the tape off but I used the self-tapping screws instead. I had to remove the tailgate which made it that much easier. Had to hard wire the reverse wire that was pretty simple. When all done was impressed with the brightness and the action was impressive.

This LED strip seems to be very high quality and is certainly easy to install. The flasher and turn signal functions are very bright and impressive. The brake light function is visible but just not as bright as I would like.The only problem I encountered is an occasional warning message from the Promaster to "Check Trailer Connection" even though all operation of the LEDs never failed.

I gave a 5 star review based on how this product is intended to be used. This is very much an extra light add-on that enhances the existing lights. This is not a sufficient system to replace the tail lights on your vehicle.For my custom use case, I'd give it a 4/5. I appreciated that the wire length was long enough to work with, but the wires were thin and difficult to strip. I was hoping that I didn't need to add separate turn signal lights, but with the trailer pin connection, there is no way around it. There is a significant delay to the brake lights (~1 second) which is concerning. I'm going to rewire the lights and replace the relay to see if that helps.I cut the trailer connection and spliced the led bar into my tail light wires. It works, but I had difficulty due to the nature of the factory connection. The turn signals are separate wires, but the brake light is split between the the two turn signal wires (power must go to both turn signal wires at the same time in order to illuminate the brakes). I had to connect the turn signal wire and the brake light wire from the vehicle to the turn signal wire on the led connection. It works just fine, but if you are working on an old car, don't forget to get an led compatible blinker relay switch to fix the hyper flashing issue. The sequential led signal on this light bar does not fully flash when hyper flashing. The led turn signal is not able to fully illuminate with a factory relay.The turn signals will not work if you need to use the brake function the way I have spliced into the system. The brake lights share a wire with the turn signals, and by connecting them, the turn signals stop working and priority is given to the brake light.I'm also going to install a center brake light, and I hope there isn't as much of a delay with that. There are no reflectors on this product, so be aware that you may need to add reflectors to stay legal, if your car lacks them.Again, the wires are VERY thin and easy to cut when stripping them.Vehicle: 1998 Suzuki Jimny JA22W; factory bumpers removed; installed on painted square steel bar used as rear bumper

Looked very good and sturdy manufactured.Installed in a breeze.But after installing I noticed, that my cheap 17$ Flexible LED Strip (In Video below Tailgate right above the bumper) performed much better and accurate than the Nilight aluminum Nilight Bar in the center under the back window!In the Video you see initially the problem, when the Hazard Flashers are on, sometimes Nilights LED Bar flash sometimes the Break light comes on totally random. Below as mentioned you see the cheap 17$ Lightstrip doing what is expected!I have then at 0:29 in the video included all other Functions to proof that the wiring is correct. 0:29 Left only, 0:35 Right only, 0:44 Reverse. This is proof that both (Nilight Aluminum Bar and the cheap 17$ Lights) are wired the same way.I contacted the Manufacturer and uploaded the same video on their Website. I got a confirmation form received and from then on tons of commercials spam mails. But they never cared to reply.I'm ordering now a competitor... But in the meantime after less than a month installed, the running LED-Lights don't work at all anymore and the Break Lights have a section out. See Pictures.As I got no reply from manufacturer, I contacted Amazon and they refunded my order.But the time and work you invest in such a installtion is great, so highly reccomend staying away from this Nilight Product I can not judge other nilight products, but based on the ignoring customer service I can make my opinion...

The media could not be loaded. Wiring was pretty straightforward plugged into the trailer harness for break and turn signal. I hard wired the reverse light into the driver side. Has been on my truck for a few months now. It does get some condensation inside which I think will eventually lead to failure but for now it works great. I mounted it on my bed rack as opposed to under the tailgate so when I have the bike rack on my turn signals are still visible. I’m very happy with all of my NiLight products and I have several on my Taco

I’ve gone through a couple of different ones and had nothing but issues . This one I just slid it in and used the screws and done .

Not made for cold weather

This product is awesome , lights all work on a different LED line so brake lights and signal lights work when used at same time. Four way flashers are very impressive amazing to look at. Running lights stay on when lights are on, and back up lights are so bright you can see long distances when using it. It also customizes the vehicle you have them on. This product is well worth the money. Highly recommend this product. When you receive it in the mail you will receive these items: 1 heavy duty light strip 60 inches long , 3 clips with screws , and the plug and play wire set. Also the adhesive on the LED strip has a very strong holding strength , I give this product a strong 10 out of 10. Well worth paying the extra money as you do receive a heavy duty set. AWESOME PRODUCT.

Super bright LED's/ like sequencing turn signals/no instructions to connect to wiring only plug into truck trailer socket leaving an exposed wiring connection/should be hidden in brake lights compartment. Cliff

I had to return this tailgate light strip, because too long on my back bumper .The seller was quite courteous and cooperative to return item and refund me.

Was easy to install, working great, looks good to.
