Ok i know the Germans make good stuff but what kind of warranty is on these? Anything less than lifetime would be a laughable.

I know, I'm of the same mind. However, this item is German in name only. It is made in Turkey. My review of this item calls it a fraud. Needless to say, i returned it immediately.

The product is made in Solingen, Germany. Solingen, located in the North Rhine-Westphalia region of Germany, began production of various products made of steel at the beginning of the 16th century. For many centuries, the name Solingen was embodiment of high quality knives, cutlery and more. High quality hardened steel is selected to produce our scissors, nippers and clippers. Solingen became the only city in the world whose name is a registered trademark. The so called "Solingenverordnung" regulates the use of the brand "Solingen" since 1938.
