Using for K40 Laser Cutter Air Assist
If you happen to be reading this because you are looking for an air assist solution for your K40 equivalent laser cutter. Stop! Click on "Buy Now" and use your Prime account to get it with free shipping within two days. It is by far the least expensive and most compact option there is. Also, an air assist is the first upgrade you should do, or really the only upgrade that you actually need to do. Most of the other upgrades you can do are convenience related, but an air assist will help keep debris from dirtying the lens and will prevent flare ups, which will improve the quality of the etching and cutting. I've just used zip ties to attach a hose to the side of the stock cutting head and it made an immediate difference on controlling flare ups while doing cuts. Though, you may want to invest in a new head with a better mirror, lens and port for the air assist, you certainly can get away with just zip tieing the hose as I have. It's definitely the loudest component of my setup...but come on! We're shooting lasers here!

Started whisper silent and after a week of steady running has settled into a light hum. Runs 24/7 on two 37 gallon tanks. Seems strong and reliable. Does not overheat.

Great option for laser cutter air assist
I bought this and installed it on my K40 laser to use as an air assist pump. It provides the perfect amount of air flow to assist with cutting. It's not the quietest pump in the world, but not too bad as far as air compressors go. You can reduce the noise by installing it on soft mounts or hanging it from its handle.

Good Pump
I hooked this pump up yesterday in my 155 gallon aquarium. It is hooked to the under gravel filter(4) and a bubble stone. I was a little skeptic it would be able to push all that air. In fact it is actually pretty powerful. Ad says it is somewhat quite. It is louder than one of my smaller pumps but I had 4 at one time so this one has actually much softer. I will buy this one again. Now to see how long is lasts.

Pretty noisy, but a monster
Pretty noisy, but a monster. This puts out air for 10 t 12 tanks. I contacted the seller about the noise, it sits in a bedroom....and I' ve found it's jsut the way this pump it. This is a bargain, and seller nice to work with. I'll save the one I got then use some diaphrams in the bedrooms.

I wish I could rate it zero stars....
The worst part is that 20 minutes after I plugged it in it got really hot and stopped pumping any air. I was using only three of the outlets which was a mess in itself because it has no isolation valves so I had to put a small piece of tubing on each outlet I wasn't using, fold it over and wrap a rubber band around it. Then I noticed the cheap plastic manifold was leaking anyway. So I plugged my old Tetra aquarium pump in and it pumped just as much air and is virtually silent compared to the buzz of the "commercial" one. Spend the extra money and buy something quality, preferably not chinese junk and save yourself the disappointment
