Remarkabl!
Ok I took these out of the packaging and thought “Ewww - plastic? What is this stuff?” Well these needles are AWESOME and I’m not sure why. They’re made out of some kind of man made material - which aesthetically is a turn-off - but they are wonderful to use. I’ve started a pair of socks, toe up, and the increases are super easy. The stitches slide along well without being too slick or too sticky, and that little rounded nub at the end is genius. It picks up stitches without splitting and prevents dropped stitches. Someone below said to file it off with an emery board - DON’T!! That’s part of the design. I tend to use my fingertip to advance stitches (continental) and I don’t get finger stick with these. They’re also a little bendy which is surprisingly nice. They’re white so they would be great for dark colored yarn.Technically, re. the material they’re made of, I’m not sure why these work so well but they do. I love beautiful wood needles like Lykke and in metal, I have several Addi and Karbonz sets, but for comfort and ease of use, these win hands down. The only thing I don’t like is that they are 8”/20 cm double points and are a little too long to work socks without being fiddly. It’s a good length for hats but I like 6” needles for socks. I can’t seem to figure out whether they make them in 6” lengths. So far Amazon is the only retailer I can find in the US and they only seem to carry 8” dpns - but if they make them in 6” lengths, I would buy a whole set.

Favorite needles I own!!
I absolutely love these! They came in the mail two days ago and I transferred my project on circulars to these. After using them for about four hours total, I can say with confidence that I never want to use other needles again. The flexibility makes them sit so comfortably, whereas gripping aluminum ones I can feel the inflexibility. These are made of some type of plastic that I’ve never seen with knitting needles, but they are really lightweight and have a slip-ability somewhere between metal and bamboo which works well for me. The little bulb shape at the point is so helpful!! It keeps stitches from slipping off when moving my project around and is easier than I thought to work with; in fact, it’s almost impossible to split my yarn now. I guess a downside to these is they could potentially snap in half much easier than other needles, but with all the pros and the affordability of them I’ll take that as it comes. I would definitely recommend these and will personally be working on slowly replacing my old stash with these!!!Note that I remembered - I should say they were packaged abysmally; had clearly been opened before, maybe returned and not repackage correctly, and were rolling around in the box with no sort of package to keep them from falling out. They’re still all there and in great shape though.

Genius
Incredible design features that make for pleasurable knitting with great results. Some have complained about plastic, but it is the ideal material, lightweight, warm to the touch, and the perfect surface, the stitches glide on but there is enough grab that they don't fall off the dpns. The tip gets into all pattern stitches like a dream and because the stitch size is formed on the shaft and not the tip, the sizing is right. The shape is wonderful on the hands, who would have thought of a triangular cross section except a genius! This company makes some needles that are rare finds I have acquired in the past and cherished. When I saw the brand name, I didn't hesitate to try them and am so glad I did. I will definitely replace all my old needles with these.

Comfortable
They work well, the tips pick up stitches better than the traditional needles. The shape is easier for fingers.

Even stitches, NO dropped stitches
I bought these based on reviews from some knitting bloggers. They are a bit firmer than normal plastic needles and despite the narrowing at the needle tip (just before the bulbous end) they feel quite sturdy.I'm using them to knit socks. I stitch by feel because I'm usually watching something on the tube while I knit. I have used different kinds of DPNs--wood, plastic, metal--as well as circulars. My latest favorites have been Karbonz 8" DPNs which make for fairly fast knitting because they are smooth, strong and long enough that stitches don't inadvertently slide off the end when you put your knitting down. But as in all "blind" knitting, I always drop a few stitches in every project, perhaps because the tips are so slick. I'm not a tight knitter, but my stitches aren't loose either (they grip the needles pretty well).I have yet to drop any stitches with the Pryms. That strange bulb-like tip really prevents the yarn from slipping during a stitch, which is how I usually and unknowingly drop stitches. The tip makes for a very, very slight hooking action when knitting or purling.I also find that the stitches somehow come out more evenly with the Pryms. I think it's because you are stitching at the tips (which are are narrow and long) the stitches are smaller than the widest part of the needle. And when you scoot them onto the middle of the needle, the stitches even out. The sock I knitted looks almost pre-blocked.Another clever design feature is that the middle of the needles are slightly triangular. Why? Because when I put down my working needle, it won't roll. It stays put and saves me all the time lost in hunting for a needle that rolled off the table. While knitting, this feature is barely noticeable. The finish is matte and this was what I disliked initially. I like to knit quickly, so the extra friction seemed to slow me down a tad. I like the smooth motion that slicker needles like the Karbonz provide. I now realize that the finish prevents the needle from sliding off the knitting, but this is was not generally a problem for me so I would have preferred slightly slicker needles. The more I use it, the more I appreciate the clever design. If I could, I'd give these needles 4.5 stars. While I still enjoy using my other DPNs, I can see myself using the Pryms more often. Ultimately it may be saving me more time and the final result is hard to beat.UPDATE: I've now knitted a few pairs of socks on these needles. I still find that I reach for them instead of my other needles, except when I do color work (which is easier to follow the patterns on magic loop because you don't have to break the pattern over several needles). While I still prefer the smoother Karbonz for sheer knitting experience, I can't get over how rare it is to drop a stitch with the Pryms. One thing I noticed that I hadn't before is that there is a tiny indentation on each of the needles (where the resin was poured in for the molds) near one of the points. While generally not a problem, when I knit a little tighter, I can feel it snag just a tiny bit when I scoot the stitches to the middle of the needle--but only if the indentation is toward the working point. As they are plastic, the indentation could probably get smoothed out by some very, very fine sandpaper (like the ones you use for fountain pen nibs). It's not enough for me to stop using them, but for tight knitters, this could be annoying.

These are the best double pointed needles!
They were a very good purchase. I am very happy with them. These are the best double pointed I have ever used. The stitches don’t slide off the needle so you don’t lead to any drop any stitches. They are well worth the price I paid.

Great needles
These needles have an exaggerated point which makes them very easy to work with in tight situations. I have not seen these before and really liked them.

Están "aguadas" no son rígidas
No me gustó!

Love Pyrm knitting needles
They are expensive but after purchasing one set with the teardrop points I highly recommend them! Fewer dropped stitches and more comfortable than the metal knitting needles. Price might deter most people but if you can get them on sale definitely give them a try!

Amazon shippers are not careful but also poor box design
The needles were amazing but these were an absolute pain to buy. The poor box design allowed for needles to easily fall out of the box if the people that package them were not being careful packaging them. Which they were not! I ordered 3 different sizes and all but one box came missing one to two needles. These rendered the needles useless as they are double pointed needles and you need all of them for knitting in the round. Ugg. What a pain to keep calling Amazon to fix it. But the did fix it eventually and now I'm happy.
